I was looking for a gravity feed filter. At one time, I owned one of those stainless steel "stacking towers". These have scary high prices, and there was no clear brand leader that I could find. Even the brand I had before did not seem to stand out from the crowd. So, inspired to see if Brita had an offering, and they do. Instant purchase with out hesitation because I have used Brita before and gifted them also. No regrets at all and would purchase this again for my household of heavy users of water.

I initially purchased the PUR water fridge dispenser with the lead free filter. I had a terrible time with it. Filter problems, container not filling up etc. I returned it and just received this amazing Brita water dispenser. I figured I would start to fill it right away because the PUR took several hours and only filled part way. To my shock and surprise it filled up immediately! Yes, it's a few bucks more and worth every penny! This also has the lead free filter that just plops right in. The PUR filter wanted a soaking first and per the reviews, when the dispenser doesn't fill up to bang that filter on the counter in case it clogged. Ugh! The Brita is the water dispenser you are hoping for! Go for it!!

i got this on sale and it has been USED so much by my family and i! i’ve even gifted one as a housewarming present! it’s very easy to clean and it fit well in my refrigerator and it also works well on the counter top. i definitely drink more water now because it’s so easy to use and it helps the taste if the water in my opinion.

My main complaint is that the bottom doesn’t raise up enough so the spout is basically touching whatever surface it is sat on. Needs to be up off the surface more. Butt hats a Brita issue not an Amazon issue.

I absolutely love this and the elite filter makes the water taste great! It is easy to clean because everything comes apart easily and is a good fit our refrigerator. Its filters as quick as you fill it so you can fill it in under 2 minutes. It helps my family drink more water and it flows perfectly through the spout making it easy and fast to fill our 40oz cups in seconds.

I have never liked water and had problems with dehydration. I enjoy this water filter, the water tastes wonderful. At last I enjoy drinking water. It is on my counter, because it does not fix in my refrigerator. That’s ok, I prefer room temperature water. I am so pleased.💦👍🏽

Very good filter for the price. We have hard water and this seems to help. We bought the elite filters and change them about every 5-6 months. When you change filters, the old filter is noticeable heavier that a new one. So it seems to be doing its job.
