I got these to use with my bumper plate Olympic plates as I did not have any 5lbs plates and these fit the bill. I use them almost daily when I benching and need to hit up 10lbs. Perfect plates.

Great for the price with with the rubber in the middle it makes swapping plates a bit of a pain but it’s not the end of the world.

Great value for 40 bucks and easy to get on my bar even with rubber coating great purchase.

I got the 2.5lb fractional plates and calling these "bumper plates" is a stretch, if not straight out misleading. They get the job done but the main issue I have with them is the size of the hole. This is rubber coated, just like the entire plate is, and the hole is fractionally smaller than any other plate I have ever owned. This gives it a very tight fit on standard 2" Olympic bars. So the plates take extra effort to put on and take off which will just slow you down.Most coated bumper plates have a metal ring around the hole which helps you load/unload the plates by eliminating the friction of the coating. That's not the case here. I have another set of 2.5lb plates and I much prefer them to these. Especially given the crazy price of $36 for two 2.5lb plates. I'm sorry but that is totally bonkers.
