Really good purchase. There's something almost satisfying about setting these out and watching the whole line of ants march in to feed, knowing it's the last time you'll see them. And it works, the ants that find the bait are gone within days. Two honest observations though. First, ants come back eventually. This wipes out the colony that's bothering you, but months later a new one can show up, so don't expect a permanent fix. Second, I've noticed that once a bait station has been open for a while, the ants seem to lose interest in it. I don't know if the liquid stops being attractive or stops working, but fresh stations always perform better than ones that have been sitting open. Even with that, it's been by far the best way I've found to control ants at home and I absolutely recommend it. Just know it's great control, not a forever solution.

I very rarely write reviews which is kind of stupid because I usually read reviews prior to getting certain products. Therefore I guess I will start now, hoping I can help someone decide wether or not this product is for them. Before you read this long review I want to let you know this is the BEST product I have ever used. Before I tell you about how AMAZING this product was I will tell you what kind of Ant 🐜 problem I had. Maybe someone can relate. I have a parrot and he is in a room that is near a window. With all the different types of food he eats and with the warmer weather that we started having in my area (NJ) I started seeing ants outside. That’s when I started seeing some ants coming in from the bottom left corner of the frame of our window. I have never had an ant issue with the 17 years I live hear. Even having my parrot and all the amounts of food he eats. For some reason last year during the spring time is when I saw these crazy little annoying bugs come in my house. These ants seemed to be a different type of ant. One I have never seen before. They were small but the minute you go near them they would run away or scatter away super fast. I have an exterminator on my block and he told us they were sugar ants. What the hell is a sugar ant? Lol. Well I was told that these ants hide out in your shower and in the kitchen because of the sugary foods around. Why are they found in a bathroom is beyond me. But I looked it up after what he said and everything he told us was what I read on line about “sugar ants”. I mentioned that last year I had this problem and they were found behind the faucet in our shower. That’s another story. Anyway, before having an exterminator come into my house, I figured I would try to resolve the problem myself. So before buying this “AMAZING PRODUCT”, I purchased all the “Raid” products that come in the square plastic containers. The ones that come in white or grey containers. I put the Raid traps by the window and where else I thought they might come in. I actually tried the mixture of vinegar, sugar and water concoction that was told on line to use for these ants. But nothing worked. I doubt an ant even went to these traps because near my window they would go around those traps. I was getting frustrated because I skeeve bugs. And I was afraid of an exterminator coming in with my parrot living here. I wasn’t taken that chance of him dying with the chemicals. Anyway after coming to a dead end with the Raid traps I began reading and reading on so many products just to find a worthy product. That’s when I came across this product. It was very different than the normal products that are used to kill ants. So I figured why not, let me give it a try. I received my order really fast and was anxious to use them. After reading all the directions these baits were very easy to use. It comes in a thick clear rectangular container. To open it, it Reccomended to hold it up right and twist off the plastic top until it snaps off. It was a little tough for me to snap off the top like it says on the package. Therefore I used a pair of scissors to open the trap. Word of advise, if you need a pair of scissors to open your product, just make sure to keep the trap upright so the liquid doesn’t pour out. After opening the trap, I then placed this trap about 3-4 inches away from the bottom corner of the window. Right where I saw the ants coming in. They scurried away from me at first, but the minute I put this trap down it was shocking!! No joke. I was shocked to see all these ants go running toward the opening of this trap. The trap actually attracted more ants to come out of hiding to eat this food (crazy). I actually spilt a little bit on my windowsill and some ran to that and got stuck. But what was amazing to me was after I put the trap down and watching these ants go to it, it was shocking to see them run right back out of the corner of the windowsill. It was crazy. I just watched for a few minutes and to see them either get trapped inside the trap or grab some of the food in the trap and run back outside or wherever they came from. And by the end of the day they were gone. It’s about 2 weeks now since I only used one trap and I have yet to see another NASTY ANT!! Wahooo!!!! They are gone. This product is BY FAR THE BEST ANT PRODUCT I HAVE EVER USED IN MY LIFE!! This is noooo joke. Therefore you can count on me to continue to purchase and use this product for any ant problem that might arise again. I will never buy a different type of ant trap again. No matter how popular people feel the “Raid” products might be. The sprays are only wonderful for the outdoors but for the inside the “Raid” products are definitely not as effective as this product is. I actually gave my neighbor 2 traps and after a day or two they were gone by him as well. These traps are crazy how wonderful they work. I swear by this product and I know if you purchase these traps you will too. I will never buy another kind of ant traps again. These are the BEST kind of ant traps on the market by far!!! And mind you, I AM NOT making any kind of commission from this company for this product review. I am just sooo happy my ant issue is gone for now. Sooo, if you want to get rid of these annoying, nasty bugs “FAST,” then purchase these traps. And I promise you, you will be so happy you did.

Edit: I received these on June 23rd and now, 3 1/2 weeks later, I believe it's safe to say they took care of the problem completely. I have not seen a single ant since last Friday. If I ever encounter ants again I know what product I'll be reordering. Besides spiders, there's no other bug I hate more than ants. I grew up in a house that was constantly getting infested so when I recently discovered ants in our bedroom, I had a meltdown. It started with two random ants, then five, then twenty until I took a closer and found multiple paths along the baseboards behind our furniture and in the carpet of our room. I was devastated. I was desperate for any solution I could find to kill them and this product was the top result. The reviews gave me a huge sense of hope and the price was neither too high or too low, so I ordered these traps and they were delivered the next day. When I received them I immediately got to work and set four traps down—two in one corner of the room, two in the adjacent corner of the same wall—and I kid you not I left the room for five minutes and when I came back in there was an entire ARMY of those suckers feasting on the traps. I was disgusted by how many ants I was seeing as I checked on the traps every few hours, but the reviews and product label say that's normal. We grabbed a few things and stayed in another room for a few nights to let the traps do their thing. Almost two weeks later two of the traps are full of dead ants, there's dead ants along the baseboard, around the traps, and we've only spotted maybe five ants total in the last five days. I don't think I've ever been so excited and relieved to see a product like this work its magic. My only hope is that the rest of the ant colony are dying out wherever they are so that they won't come back. This product worked fast, there wasn't any scent that I could detect from the baits, and you get great results for a small price. The ONLY tip I can give when placing the traps is to put a piece of cardboard/plastic underneath the traps as the traps tend to leak. I read about that in the reviews so it was the first thing I did when getting ready to place them. No matter how carefully I cut the tip of the traps with scissors, the solution still tends to leak out somehow, but you shouldn't have to worry about messes so long as you put something underneath. Other than that, this product worked great. Highly recommend.

Seems to be working. I'll give it a few more days to be sure. Wish the plastic cartridges were the same as before, though. They used to be designed with the opening at the bottom of a wedge-shaped "ramp" that smaller ants (like I have) walk right up into. The new ones don't reach the floor, so the ants (while they still can physically get to the bait) have to crawl up around the sides and eventually find their way in. The old ones were much more "inviting" and practically funneled ants into the bait station. I called Terro customer service, and they told me the openings were supposed to touch the floor. They don't - by a long shot. Might try advion gel.

I was skeptical but now I'm a believer! No bad odor, no mess, very small and easy to hide from nosey pets while still getting rid of all the ants! The tiny little sugar ants/meat ants kept coming back to the kitchen no matter how much I scrubbed and cleaned every inch. I tried the Raid ant/roach spray multiple times inside and out, but they were back in a few days. Plus all the smell and washed time!! I thought I was doomed to live with ants forever. until I used these little traps! I left one one the counter, one on the windowsill and one behind the fridge. Probably too many but I wasn't taking any chances, lol. No ants in a few hours!! I left the traps there for two days just to be sure, then removed and cleaned again. I haven't seen any ants, at all, for months now!!! 🥳🥳 These are soooo much better than sprays or powder!! My pug is very nosey and likes to chew plastic, so at first I was very worried about him being around these. However, he was not attracted to them at all. He gave a tiny sniff of curiosity to the one under the dishwasher and then dismissed it. I'm so glad I tried these!!

The best kind of ant trap if you're really interested in killing a large colony of them. My mom (who is in her 90s) had accidentally kept a tab of chocolate candy on her counter by her sink, so the little buggers just kept coming back, trying to get through the aluminum foil. I had some old ant traps there, same brand, but they already had dozens (hundreds?) of dead bugs in them. They were from last season, so I didn't think they'd work. They still did, until the number of bugs got to be so great, it was more bugs than syrup. Anyway, kinda gross, but I decided to buy more (still hadn't discovered the chocolate!) With the new box of baits, the little buggers were gone in no time, and I was able to throw the candy away (god only knows how old it was!) so there was nothing to attract any more wild things. I love how easy this product is to use, but keep it level or the juice will spill out. Speed of attraction once you cut off the tab is instant. Don't know what attracts them, but it's better than 10-year-old chocolate! The concentration must also be good, because I'm serious, there are lots of critters going in there to die. Not just one and done. The size is good enough that you can see it so you don't accidentally knock it over. And it obviously works a long time if the container from last year was still going strong. She's 92, so I expect her to leave more stuff out there to attract more sugar-loving ants, and am glad this product is there to tempt them away from bottles of honey, or cups or tea, whatever she forgetfully leaves on the kitchen counter. I can't watch her every move, but with these I can keep her infestation under control. She wants to live alone, so all I can do is keep her as safe/healthy as possible. These really help me do that. A+ stuff.

Oh my gosh this stuff works AMAZINGLY. Background story: We just moved to an older home that we have been remodeling and fixing up the backyard the last month or so. The place was pretty overrun with plants/vines/etc. The previous owner did not maintain any type of pest control so we knew we would have to start that because I found plenty of larger than preferred spiders around... Anyways! After unpacking everything finally and living in the home for a few days, I noticed some ants in our laundry room (which is part of an exterior wall). They kept coming through pretty consistently so I knew I had to do something about it. I hate ants getting inside the home because I never had the right approach to killing them without calling the exterminator (if they could come out anytime soon as well) and that gets so expensive. I saw the reviews for this stuff and people convinced me to get the traps. Well, I can tell you now after putting one down for several hours, it appears the ants totally took the bait and I haven’t seen them appearing in the laundry room since! It freaked me out at first because before the trap was placed, there were about ~10-15 scattered ants I could see, but when you put that trap down, you might see 50+ show up after a few hours. That’s GOOD because it means they got all their worker ants to come grab the bait. I went to bed and woke up and saw no more ants! I’ve been checking back the last two or so days and still have yet to see any! I found another small group of ants coming from under my baseboards in my bedroom and because of the success of the bait in the laundry room, I tried it there too. Several hours later: BOOM. Dozens of ants coming to the bait. The same outcome occurred, after I saw the large colony of ants come take the bait, they all disappear and I don’t see them again. From the time I put the bait down to them coming and then seeing them disappear completely, it’s well within 24 hours! I can’t believe how well they work. You might have to shift where the bait should sit, but so far I 2/2 of getting rid of ants in my home! The nice part is that you get a generous amount of bait stations so I feel really good about if run into more ants, I can get rid of them quickly and easily! HIGHLY recommend buying these! PS. I don’t normally write reviews, but I was compelled to tell my success story with this product!

I think this might be the best ant killer on the market right now. My go-to used to be Advion but I really wasn't happy with my last experience using it - quickly drying out to where the ants couldn't do anything with it and it just wasn't keeping them away. Decided to give this ant killer a try and I was blown away. I took the advice of others and just set it near their path, gave it some time and they started going for it within a couple hours then others would follow and after just a few days they were gone. But then I discovered more coming from another part of the room so I just set it near the area I would notice one of the surfaces some were walking on, set it there and again they were gone within a few days. You don't even need to place it in their path, just as close as you can to where you see them and they'll find their way to it. But one thing I did notice is that if I place a second bait station near the first one they would ignore it so that did make me wonder if some of the stations are 'fake' but I really don't know, it could be something with ant/insect biology I'm not aware of. Regardless it did it's job so I'm not complaining, highly recommend this. Few things to be wary of though: Don't let this spill out of the station because it will harden and it will get stuck to things like bed sheets almost like super glue. Still not sure how I'm going to get it out of the carpet and bed sheets it spilled onto. So that definitely is a major flaw in the product but I'll take it with how effective it is.
