How can i be sure this is the authentic idemitsu brand and not fake, and, this meets the specs for a 2011 subaru outback 3.6r?

(I'm thinking the 3.6R got the old school 5EAT and not the newer CVT.) The shipment I received appeared to be genuine, equivalent to Subaru ATF-HP. If it was counterfeit, they did an extremely good job copying the bottle and the label; and what would they have put in the bottle that would have been significantly cheaper than ATF-HP but not as good? Bottom line, I don't know how you would tell if the product you received was counterfeit.

What color is good on the stick after 150,000?

New, out of the bottle fluid is red. If you haven't changed it in 150,000 miles I would bet it is dark brown and more viscous. Red is best. For a quick solution, with the motor off you can siphon most of the fluid out of the holding tank and replace it with this fluid. After a week you can do it again and you should be good.

Is this good for 2008 Subaru Outback automatic transaxle (2.5i 4-cylinder engine)?

This is the fluid that Subaru specifies. See page 11-24 of your owners manual for more information on recommended fluids and capacity for your automatic transmission. I use this ATF in my 2008 Subaru Outback 2.5i.
