Quality product
They are delicious - but also little gritty as to be expected since there are seeds inside. A lot of fun to eat! It is a little sweeter than I expected but I’m a fig purist and like them fresh so don’t mind me :-) They are a lovely snack and extremely high quality! The separate bags are inspired and make for a perfect snack.

Not as good as expected
These figs are hit and miss. There is at least one fig in each packet that is wonderfully moist and richly sweet, but unfortunately the rest are average quality, and at least one in each packet is very dry and tastes worse than the filling of a fig newton.... I also discovered I am mildly allergic to this type of fig... I was not aware that figs are inverted flowers, and this particular type is created through the "consumption" of the wasp that pollinates it. To be honest it is a bit horrifying to know I am eating the remains of an insect that has been digested while it is still alive, but there are worse things out there in this world, I suppose. Anyways, these give me a stuffy nose and after the third pack I had some wheezing so I stopped eating them. I am unsure what component of this product I am sensitive to, but they are in fact sulfite free. This was the first fact I researched when I got nasal congestion, as I have a sulfite allergy. I am speculating that it is most likely due to it being a flower and not a fruit. Who knows.I cannot buy this again, nor do I recommend it.
