Yep, I wired it in and I did exactly what I expected, turned the item on AND off.

Simple solid switch
Bought to replace an inferior plastic oblong switch incapable of fulfilling its task of turning an 3kw water heating urn on and off, had to make a circular hole to mount it next to its failed original. As the urn metal was somewhat thin metal a small drilled hole was opened up to the correct diameter using a cone shaped grind stone. Fitting the new switch took a few minutes and now function as it should. Perfect.
