This was bought for a costume, however really pleased with quality and quantity - therefore considering using in garden/home.No concerns re smell, removed from packaging, separated and left overnight with no problems.

There is definitely a… smell… It smells distinctly like burnt plastic and vinegar, but a quick throw in the sink with some fairy liquid and a shove in the tumble-dryer does the trick of getting them to smell 100x better. Otherwise, great!! It adds a nice touch to my room.

Upon opening I was met with an unnatural smell. It smells like some horrific chemical plant. You could not use these indoors. There should be a health warning on these wow.

They come flat sealed, and when you open the package the smell is strong, but I just hung them up over night and the smell went away. I used them to make a Poison Ivy costume, and they were easy to sew. A couple of leaves hadn't be glued on straight and a couple fell off the plastic vine, but they were easy to glue back on.

I had to dowse these fake ivy in a bottle of perfume to mask the stench of fish. I have no idea why or how they could smell so bad. Were they sitting in a smoked fish house? Avoid unless you want your house smelling of fish, or have a spare bottle of perfume to spray these things wish!

these vines were perfect for my room but they like SORT OF MALTED like the bits of leaves would come off and go all over my floor but all and all really good quality!
