Porcini is very difficult to grow commercially or at home since they need tree roots to grow. They prefer a few specific species of trees in particular. Even if you plant spores in the right location, porcini mushrooms are very slow growing. hemlock, birch, pine, and spruceLike morels and truffles, they have a symbiotic relationship with certain tree species, such as hemlock, birch, pine, and spruce. I bought them before I throughly rescheduled. I'm new to the mushroom growing so I know read everything as I should have done. I do believe that a disclaimer stating this fact, but then again they wouldn't sell many!
