TIPS:1) Before purchasing, test your toilet by lifting up both lids, cleaning toilet (optional but highly recommended), and practicing siting to see if your cyst would be positioned low enough to be submerged in water.I have narrow, oval shaped toilets, which I didn’t realize wouldn’t let me submerge myself enough. Thanks goodness for the helpful commenter who suggested sitting sideways (rotating your whole body 90 degrees), but overall I found it uncomfortable (see #2 below for a solution).2) If you’ve already bought the kit and you’re struggling to make things work, try using your sink instead (less dilution that using a bath tub) or buying a special sitz bath pan.3) If you’ve bought the kit and plan on using your toilet, first add water to the installed liner and practice siting before you add the epsom salt packet. That way if you realize things aren’t working for you or you need to move around to try different positions you don’t end up wasting the solution (in my case I accidentally sloshed water around everywhere). Also, don’t be Iike me and add water about the recommended fill line—it’s there for a reason...THOUGHTS:The kit is well made, even though I moved around like crazy, added water over the fill line and caused water to go all over my floor, the sticky pads on the plastic liner stayed in place and the liner itself did not break (i.e., it stood up to ridiculous amounts of user error).In terms of whether it works, I’m not entirely sure because I’ve only used this once and I’ve also started taking silicea and serrapeptase to try and combat this cyst along with using a microwaveable heat pack. I do think my cyst has gone down in size but I can’t tell if it’s a combination of everything, due to a specific medication/tool or just pure luck.Good luck!

Well, let me start by saying that my life is like the song Ironic from Alanis Morrisette! My cyst burst yesterday, package comes today. I decided to use it in case there was anything lingering. Now this was my 1st time using this product, directions seemed simple enough, picture instructions too. Told boyfriend go to the bathroom cause I'm going to be in there for a while. Haha I take the liner out of the packet, I'm pleasantly surprised it's not cheap or flimsy, strong and thick, nice job. I take the sticky tabs off and stick it to the toilet and fill it with hot water...hmm too hot, well now. So I unstick one edge and let it drain out the holes for the water to escape (the designer was really thinking here) then I add some lukewarm water and the seasoning lol I mean salt packet, just kidding folks!Okay so we are ready now, took me a couple of mins of adjusting to find the proper position to make sure the undercarriage was properly covered. However after that i just sat there for about 20 minutes, kind of bored, I'm not really used to just sitting. So now I have to clean up my mess. Mind you I was a little itchy and uncomfortable today. However after using this product I feel clean as a whistle! No irritation or itchiness and im pretty sure the swelling has gone down as well. Overall I'm impressed, I have never had one of these cysts until about a year ago and just used a warm compress, called my Doctor like a lunatic and then 2 months ago and just 2 days ago. Welcome pre menopause!!

This is my first Bartholin cyst. I can not thank enough the mind behind this product. I been in terrible pain and inflammation my Dr aspirate it and put me on antibiotics and still. I was schedule to have an incision and drainage and I started for 2 days and it went down half the size. My dr decided to wait and see if I will still need the I&D. I used very hot water the hotter I can resist without burning my self and sit there for an hour or until the water gets cold. Instead of using it 3 times a day I read other reviewers that use it twice and I am using it twice a day. Is very convenient and if you are scare that it will hurt don’t it doesn’t even sting. The pain subside the second time I used it and I started to see drainage by the second day. At third day it was even smaller and less uncomfortable. I would recommend this product to anyone with Bartholin’s cyst. But my advice is don’t wait and see your Dr too because if is infected you may need antibiotics. Hope this help you like it did to me. The other good point is the smell, it is pleasent.UPDATE after my five star review I had to change it to a 4 star review. It works wonderful. I avoided an incision and drainage with it but the third batch came defective. 2 of the sitz bath were not glued properly after paying so much you at least expect to have quality control on the product. If they would sell only the salts and essential oils mixed I would buy it.

I don’t write reviews very often. But this this product I thought deserves a little bit of my time to write a review. I had never heard of Bartholin’s cyst until I personally experienced it a couple of months ago. It scared the life out of me. I was clueless and nervous on what to do, so I frantically searched over the internet about it and that was how I came across this product. I cannot express enough how great this product worked for me. It comes in two components the Sitz bath and the salt mix. As it says, the folded disposable sitz bath fits right onto the commode and stays put in place with its sticky wings, allows a generous amount of water warm/cool to soak your bottom. It is disposable hence no washing no storing! And the best part is yet to come. It comes with handy salt pouches with various essential oils. It smells so good, is very soothing and pain relieving. I used to take sitz bath twice a day, sometimes at my office too. It really helped ease my pain and heal my abscess that I got in the least expected and the most sensitive part of my body. Yes, I would highly recommend this product to everyone who is going through the similar experiences of mine.
