Can the background light be dimmed?

Yes, you can dim it, however, even in its lowest level, it is too bright in the dark to leave on when going to bed. This applies to the white CubieBlue only because it has a white background. The black model does not have this problem because the background is dark. I first used the black one at a Marriott hotel and liked it so much, I purchased one, but in white. If I would have known the difference with the background light, I would have purchased the black one.

Can you use two cubbies together from one Bluetooth device (iPhone) and play the same music through both at the same time?

I don't know the answer to that, sorry! I will say that the read on the clock is not good after about 2 years. The numbers are messed up.

Does this product only work when it is plugged into the wall? Or does the wall plug just charge it?
