This is a very soft yarn for baby afghan blanket. Easy to create with.

The quality of this yarn is great. It’s very soft and made a warm blanket without being heavy. It washes and dries beautifully. The colors blend together nicely. Very happy with this brand of loop yarn. Will definitely purchase again.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this to make my toddler a diy cookie monster costume and am beyond pleased with how it turned out! The loop yard was perfect for creating a furry monster look and we recieved many compliments! The bundle of two was a great deal and just enough yarn for what I needed! It was light weight and very soft!

UPDATE: Baby blanket/nappie/swaddler etc. finished! Took 3 days but honestly I only spent about 3 hours in total working on it. Super easy to bind off & finish. No shedding, very plush & very thick. I used 1 skein for the project.**********************************************************************************************************Just for reference I am in my late 20's & have been crocheting for about 10 years or so off & on. I don't consider myself advanced (I can't read patterns, i just watch tutorials when I want to learn a new stitch or pattern. Also, my granny squares are trash) but I wouldn't say I am a newbie either.I needed to make a gift for a friend's baby shower and knew I wanted to make a blanket but between work and other things knew I didn't have the time to do what I wanted with basic yarn & a crochet hook. After some research I thought this would be the best yarn for the project and Amazon offered the best price.I am about halfway into the blanket now and am working a cross stitch pattern. After a bit of trial and error and a youtube video or two, I found it to be very easy to work with. The yarn is very soft like all Bernat yarn and because it is thick, your pattern will build very quickly. I was worried about keeping the loops straight when changing rows but have found it to be much easier going than I expected.I have not seen any color bleeding or shedding and my work surface is just my bed which is topped by a white and silver comforter. The colors do blend together so the ombre effect of the yarn is not as noticeable in the blanket I'm creating but I believe that is more so because of the pattern I am using.I have been skeptical about loop yarn since I came across it a few years ago but am very happy that I chose it for this project. I'll add a photo or two when finished!

Both my kids loved this yarn as blankets, even after 5.5 years of cleaning. It does loose its softness I would say after 3 years of weekly washing, but its a great fabric and so soft and easy to use.

This is the softest and puffiest loop yard I have used. I made a baby blanket out of the baby blue. All the skeins were identical and none had any thin or broken loops. I purchased some other colors of this same brand that were not as thick and plush as the baby blue color. I don't know why this particular color is so soft. I also like the larger skein, which means tying less knots in the blanket. Compared to other brands, this brand is a good value.

Truly the best brand. Very fluffy 400 grams. Holds up to washings so well. Very little lint. Been using this for years on crafts, blankets, pillow covers, scarves, table runners etc. I've tried most colours and they're all true to picture. When is green coming back? Only downside is the colours I want are always out of stock. On second thought, this is horrible stuff. Don't buy this LOL

I love this Knit Lope Yarn, just perfect for making a blanket and very easy to do, the only thing I think it's a little pricey
