Great fit for my 2013 Altima
Perfect replacement for my 2013 Altima. Size and thread pitch was as advertised. Noticed that there was a slow oil leak from the drain plug / washer, so decided to just change the whole thing since the existing plug was in poor shape. This product seems well made and very sturdy. It came with a few copper washers but I recommend just buying and using a pack of thin copper crush washers. If you remove your oil fill cap and put a vacuum cleaner or shop vac up to it, you can change this drain plug without losing a drop of oil.

Top quality..must have...does the job..
Price was the best around. This was the 3rd one I purchased.Same quality, packaged the same as the ones costing a few dollars more. Also included 3 crush washers.Naturally I do my own maintenance.Unfortunately, I have to bring my car in for the 10,000 mile oil change.Which I paid for, when I bought the car.The drain plug better be there after the oil change. 😂I compared this to the original and you can see and feel the difference in the quality. The magnet is a must have especially since this is a new car with 5000 miles..You don't want any metal floating around that may be to small for the oil filter to pick up.This is an inexpensive investment to protect an engine.

Stopped the leak.
Just put this on my LR3. Installation was easy and seems to have worked so far. I really like that you can just take out the inner bolt to change your oil. All oil change shops should carry this product just in case.

This is a good alternative
I came across this piggyback oil drain plug randomly searching for alternative approach; I didn't want to replace the entire oil pan; or use a time-sert, which requires several steps to install new solid threads. The directions for this slightly oversized to the stock drain bolt was straight forward and simple. Make sure while installing to keep it straight before cutting into your oil pan. Also pour couple of quarts of cheap oil to clean out the metal shavings before fully tightening it down to your oil pan based on your factory torque specs.

This little device is a life saver?
I'm a mechanic by trade but after having a long week at work, tired and feeling lazy, I found a 19$ coupon for an oil change. Because I had a moment of weakness, I took my car to one of those quicky oil change places that has the letters "JL" in their title. Anyway they stripped my oil plug and I didn't notice it until the next time I had to do the oil change? So I very frustratingly gave up on even trying to go back to prove it to a bunch of teenagers to get my money back. And just decided to search online on how to permanently fix stripped drain pan plug holes on an aluminum drain pan without replacing the whole thing? Which in my case would require removing the lower cross members and some suspension parts?!! This little gadget arrived quickly and I installed it easily. Boom problem solved and now it's even easier to change the oil as you no longer have to unscrew the drain plug. You just pop out the magnetic center cover with a pair of pliers! And yes it's a very strong magnet and a good seal with no signs of leaking after almost 3 months of rough road driving.

M14.1-1.5x 15mm Oil Drain Plug: Plugged Acura TL 2008 stripped oil pan within 15 minutes!
I flattened oil pan threads by overtightening the oil drain plug, and then force removing it by pulling on an Acura TL 2008. This is a no brainer and quality, permanent repair. This plug went in easy and made new threads. I was careful to keep the plug perpendicular to the hole. Did not need any special tools. After completely tightening the plug I removed it and pulled out aluminum filings with a tiny bottle brush. I then filled some old oil to flush out any remaining filings. I then put the plug back in on the newly created threads. It went all the way with fingers. Tightened with wrench. Filled with new oil. Started engine. No leaks. I will be using the piggy-back plug to change oil next time onwards.

Fits perfect on the 2022+ Grom
Super strong magnet! Even comes with 2 additional copper washers. I've purchased this twice now and would buy again if needed.

Easy to use
Got this to replace a stripped one on my oil pan (turns out I did not need it, as the leak was elsewhere). When in easy and was easier (less messy) to change oil using the Allen key rather than sockets.
