I don’t think there are enough words to describe how beautiful this book, story, and these characters are! Officially one of my all time favourite series, books, & author. I love getting read brilliant books with incredible people 🎇 “You’re the beat to my heart” Amara has a strength to find herself no matter how hard people try to beat it out of her. Dante has patience, a protective nature, and a hidden cunning nature that’s pure genius! If I can be anything like these 2 I would be proud! Honestly I love that these characters inspire me to be stronger, braver, and more confident. The background to these 2 was so intriguing and seeing their romance grow was stunning! RuNyx builds her characters so well they feel real. The emotions they go through you feel too. There were countless times I wanted to wrap Dante and Amara in bubble wrap and never let them go. The plot to this too blew this world up! Im so excited to read about Alpha next and see how this all wraps up! I’ll say this after every RuNyx book - this is a masterpiece, a work of art, and gorgeous! The writing is so stunning you want to savor every second of this book.

It was such an intense read, but I really liked it! I can’t put it into words how strong and amazing Amara is my heart broke so much I cried. It has definitely many many trigger warnings so please read them before you read the book. It did trigger some things in me but I knew what I was getting myself into which tbh made the experience way better (better to know before than during!). Dante was a-freaking-mazing I love him so much, everything he did for Amara she is his world and he is hers and it was just perfection!

Can I just give an infinite amount of stars to this whole series so that we're clear how amazing it is? 🖤 As always, I am speechless. Each story keeps getting better and better, despite going through it itself gets harder and harder. Same as Tristan and Morana, Dante and Amara have my whole heart. I love them so much it actually hurts. If you're looking for a fabulously done forbidden love which will wreck your whole being, look no further. This is it and more. Dante and Amara's story is one of a kind, powerful, painful and true in its most deepest and real meanings. Amara is an incredibly kind, sweet, and beautiful soul. She radiates a light in the midst of darkness, and she's someone you'd go to great lengths to protect, to keep safe, and to ensure that her beautiful smile never fades. As a friend, she's unparalleled in her loyalty. Her past is a story of pain that can deeply affect you, but it also imparts an indescribable strength and serves as a powerful role model to follow. Dante is perfect. I knew he would be, and yet getting to know him was one of the best experiences. He's so sweet but at the same time he will burn the whole world down for you. He's a true romantic, but he's not afraid to venture into the realm of the most seductive and passionate words you can imagine. 🖤 I absolutely adored getting to know the young and teenage versions of Amara, Dante, and Tristan. Even though their story caused a grand ache in my being, I truly loved every second of getting pieces of them which I will forever cherish in my heart. Everything about this book is extraordinary. Ever since I first picked up The Predator, I became addicted to RuNyx's books and her writing. There's no turning back for me now—I'm hooked, and I couldn't be happier

The Emperor is the first dark mafia romance that I read and it's the third book of The Dark Verse series. I wasn't sure of what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. It's interesting how the story is written because it's start when the characters are kids and we get to see them grew up into adults and see them through each steps of their relationship which I appreciated because it made me understand them better. Their love for each other is truly magical and Dante protectiveness and sweetness toward Amara, despite is mafia boss status is what I love the most in the book. Amara is the strongest women ever, I'm really impress with the way she overcome her extremely traumatic experience. Dante and Amara trust for each other is impressive and all the years they had to hide made them strongest together at the end. The writing is well balance between Amara and Dante's relationship and the investigation they are working on which is why I had to read the other books in the series.

i wouldn't say that I loved this one but I really, really enjoyed this book a lot. So much so that I finished it in two days. I didn't know what it was about, that made me like this more then the 2nd book. Keep in mind that this book follows a new couple, one we know from the frist two books. This one I can understand why you have to read inorder to get more answers to the story. I would read this book again just on it's own.
