These are a wonderful clean. Just cleaning with hot water alone is enough to get up most smells and messes. I normally clean once with hot water then rinse everything out and clean with a cleaning detergent

Works great.
I bought the mop which of course came with the mop head. I needed something that wouldn't hold in the smells of stuff that needs to be mopped up. Love this because the mop head is easy at rinsing out any odors it picked up and cleans pretty well so I ordered this refill just to have.
