Used for first time today. Performed well. Lightweight, exactly what I was looking for.

This is certainly a well made, good quality, strimmer. It's easy to assemble and comes with the battery part charged and the battery charger is part of a co-operative that can be used with Flymo, Bosch and Gardenia batteries amongst others. I tried it out on a nearby footpath which was becoming overrun with tough grass and weeds. I found it worked very well, cutting down grass, nettles and some young thistles without any problems. It was very easy to extend the cord too. However, I found it very heavy to use and after about ten minutes use I was fading fast. I've tested 3 strimmers recently and this was by far the heaviest and probably at least as heavy as an old mains powered heavy duty one I've got. If you don't think the weight's going to be a problem then this is a really good quality strimmer that'll deal with all but the thickest weeds. However, if you just need something to trim the edge of the lawn and cut down a few weeds this is probably more than you'll need, although it does seem likely to last for many a year.

I've been rather impressed with this. The battery charges up quickly enough, and lasted long enough to cover me doing the whole back garden when the grass had got too long to mow, about 40+ sq yds, and edge over 60 yds of lawn. So far, no problems with the line feed, which has always been my main problem with strimmers.

I would love to say this was a brilliant strimmer because it set out to be my old Flymo strimmer on steroids. It would have been the third Flymo strimmer I have had in 15 years. But it never got the chance to strim a single blade of grass because the grey roller wouldn't roll. It was tight around the neck of the strimmer and wouldn't move. I returned the first (not bought through Amazon) and bought the replacement through Amazon. Same fault. Looks like it was from the same batch. So while I think it would have been a lovely machine, check that the grey roller actually rolls before you assemble anything else. Once assembled, you can't dissassemble. And I hope it works for you because I think it would have been awesome. PS I bought another Flymo but an older model.

This is amazing, we have a oval shaped lawn surrounded by small stones and although it looks really lovely it has been such a challenge to keep the edges sharpe and looking nice as it was taking me ages to do it with hand sheers or the edging spade, this is AMAZING 🤩 I can do it sooooo quickly now with the rolling wheel and the stones being 1” away isn’t an issue, takes a bit of getting used to as to where the cutting is taking place and what angle is best to hold it but I soon had it sussed after one lap of the edge. Perfect edges every time now and done so easily and perfect lines. Highly recommend

Fabulous works amazing and battery lasts. Love it!

Arrives in four parts (plus the battery and charger).Easy to put together - all push fit or twist fit - though getting the wheel to click into place even, when lined up properly, took a couple of goes.Battery charges quickly and last pretty well, with a battery level indicator to show how much charge is left.As a lightweight strimmer it works well for light to medium garden duties - strimming grass from awkward spots and edging lawns nicely, but it's a bit underpowered for brush clearing, for example.It sits in Flymo's mid range, though, so this is to be expected and is not a criticism.The design of the handle has been well thought out and it's easy to hold and swing. There is a protrusion on the front so that you can take the strain a bit with a second hand on longer jobs.All in all very good. The freedom of being battery powered is welcome, even if it does mean it's a bit underpowered when compared with a mains or petrol strimmer.
