Saved my shoulders, and lots of time.
My old pole saw was the corded variety with an electric chainsaw on the end of a pole. It worked well enough, but I'd have to drag 100 feet of extension cord with me. As I'm no longer 25, the weight on the end of that long pole became too much to hold up for more than a few minutes. My shoulders just couldn't take it any longer, so I decided to buy a sleeker model with an inline motor, and chose this one because the price was great and it had a 4Ah battery while many others were 2Ah. The reach is about 18" longer than my old model, and the cut is great because it has a name-brand Oregon chain, but those aren't the highlights. What really sold me was the cordless power and the balanced weight of this unit. I no longer felt like I was holding up a bowling ball on the end of a 12" pole. The battery ran for a really long time. I was able to prune a huge pile of wood off of a large dying limb before I needed to get out of the heat and eat lunch. I left the battery on the charger during my break, came back out, and took down an 8" limb roughly 20 ft long. I then used the pole saw to cut the limb into pieces to throw on to the log splitter. Best of all, my shoulders weren't screaming for mercy by the time I was finished. I wish I'd have made the jump to a cordless unit with an inline motor years ago.

Bought on a whim, Now I use it a lot.
Who buys stuff they don't actually need on Prime Day? Me! When I saw the deal on this pole saw I though it might be a handy tool to have around. I have found it to be super helpful. It operates easily. The weight of the saw cuts through the limbs. My only complaint is that with just a little more effort they could have made it into a convertible saw that could either be used on the pole or as a handheld saw. There is already a coupler to take the saw off the end of the pole. If they put the same one by the controls, BOOM, hand saw. Or at least offer a hand saw that uses the same battery.I would definitely buy this again.

Great tool!
This thing is great! Seems to be more powerful than my gas powered saw. Takes a good bit of upper body strength when extended. Not sure about battery life. I've charged it once so far & used it intermittently over the past month.

What a great tool
I bought this to help me clear out a whole hillside of blackberries , Junipers, Scotch Bloom , and old growth Ivy that was 3 inches in diameter in places. This saw has been a life saver. Just adjust the chain correctly, keep the bar oil reservoir full, and charge it up overnite. I've been using it for a week , and the battery has lasted each day ( although I use my big chain saw on the hillside too ). The engineering of the saw is excellent, and it's well built , and has an Oregon bar with a nose sprocket. I lube the nose sprocket every morning , and the whole machine has ben trouble-free.

Before fill up baroil.
Before I can use it baroil leaked all over floor. Where you fill the oil has a crack.

Cuts well but avoid tangled branches
Cuts well but avoid tangled branches - the chain tensioner moves easily which is great for adjustment but will turn if rubbed against a nearby branch resulting in the chain coming loose. For clean cuts it is great. The company stands by its product - very impressed.

Performs better than expected in this price range
I bought it with the bigger battery. Plenty of cutting power to get the job done. Angle settings are easy to adjust. Not as powerful as a motorized chain saw, but enough power to cut through even large branches. Must let it cut at its own pace. My brother was an arborist. He always said ladders and tree work don’t mix (not safe). With the long reach of this saw, I was able to clear the high branches that trucks were hitting along my driveway, and did it while safety standing on the ground. Wear a hard hat and eye protection. Saved myself thousands by avoiding having to higher someone. Great price for this little dynamo.

Works well!
I have multiple trees on my property and occasionally, they need trimmed or a larger limb just needs to be removed. This unit has done everything I have put it through with ease. The battery lasts a long time and recharging is quick. The extension is easy to adjust, but it does seem to creep out from full retraction when cutting with the lock engaged. This has caused no issue while using it. I have used this unit vs getting out the Stihl many times. I have no regrets ordering this unit.
