One end of the brackets had been welded at less than 90 degrees and so wouldn't slide into the receiving space. I emailed, tried phoning, smoke signals, meditation etc. and finally got so ppeed off that I just jammed it in and bent it straight with brute force. Luckily it didn't break and all in all I'm more than happy with the purchase but DANG, that sure irks you when you have to chat with a brick wall! ### ⭐ it looks nice in pictures *by N***Y on Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2017* So let me just say, if you're looking for a decent piece of furniture, look elsewhere. This bench came in a box that's stuffed with Chinese newspaper from 2016. So random.... then when we tried to assemble the bench together, we noticed one of the flanges was welded upside down and the hole was not even at the right place lol Since we were almost done assembling the bench, we decided to keep it. After we flipped the bench up and put it down on the floor, we noticed that the legs are not at the same level and the bench wobbles. So overall, it looks nice in pictures, but quality is non-existent. Maybe use it in staging a house, that'll be a good use of this bench. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Be prepared! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 30, 2020* Despite the reviews, I decided to purchase this bench because it was the exact bench I was looking for. I opened it and everything appeared to be packaged carefully, but as I followed the instructions I realized that parts of the frame that needed to be inserted into each other were completely bent. I was ready to pack the thing back up and return it but I decided to try and make it work so I got out my hammer and had to reshape it and was able to squeeze it in.
