Chef'n Vibe Berry Basket

Seemed to keep my strawberries fresh for a few days longer, but didn't hold the full container of berries.

This is one of those things that you buy and think, "How did I make it this far in life without this??" It's amazing. Obviously you fill it with fruit, rinse, put it in the plastic base and serve (or cover and bring along). It makes it so much easier to eat fruit and feed it to my kids, which is awesome. It's very sturdy, well constructed and works exactly as it's supposed to. Brilliant - I wish I'd thought of it!The main thing I wish they'd fixed is that I wish it were a little oversized and not exactly a pint. We go to a farmer's market where our berries are always getting squished, so I brought this along (wish also allows them to reuse the containers they have). The problem is that they tend to have a little more than a pint in each basket, so you either have to eat some berries really quickly (unwashed), leave them behind or let them get squished.The other thing is that the lid doesn't snap on quite as tightly as I would like. It's fine for fridge use, but I'm not sure how much it would get knocked around in a picnic basket or something like that. That's more minor though.Great product - highly recommended!

Nice container...

This is a three piece, pint sized basket. I have other quart size that I use for strawberries and grapes. This one is perfect for berries and pea pods. The basket comes out to put your berries in, then I mix a tablespoon of vinegar with water in the bottom container. I pick the basket part up and dip it up and down into the bottom to wash the berries, pour the liquid out, rinse the berries in clean water, set the basket back into the bottom, snap the lid on and set in the frig. Now whenever we want to stop and put some berries on yogurt or cereal, they are clean and cold. One of the things that appears to be taking place, is that my berries are staying nice longer. Sometimes red raspberries from the store will go bad in 24 hours. This makes them stay nice for the next 3 days at least.

This container is awesome! I like to take fresh berries for lunch sometimes, but I don't wash them in advance since it is important not to wash berries until you are going to eat them to prevent mold. I pack my berries in it and when I get to lunch, I take out the green colander and wash them in the sink at work. The green colander clicks into place with the bottom box, and the top lid doesn't click but is pretty snug. This container travels well and my only suggestion is to put a rubber band around it if it won't be upright since the top lid doesn't click in.

Great refrigerator storage solution.

I would love this if it were just a tad larger, just enough to hold a pint of strawberries If you're buying blue or black berries,this is a great rinse and storage container, as long as you let berries air dry on paper towels for a while before covering and refrigerating. And it's cute; that counts. :-)

We own two of these now. Not only does it store the berries nicely, I use it to give the berries a rinse and a quick soak in a vinegar/water solution the inner basket serves as a colandar. It is also handy to bring to the farmers market for those vendors who put berries in a bag or appreciate holding onto their baskets. It would be improved by an arched lid but works well for the smaller berries such as blueberries and raspberries.

This is great for storing fresh berries. You can rinse them in the basket, let most of the water drain through and store them in the fridge. Keeps berries fresh for days

Great containers. Not only keeps fruit fresher for longer but great to bring to farmers market and not have to use the plastic pint holders. Easily fits a regular pint container of fruit unless it’s generously overflowing or a pint of larger fruit like peaches.Like others have said the lid fits snug but isn’t meant to be flipping around or sitting on its side. Not an issue to me as only really storing in fridge or counter.

Excelente! Realmente te ayuda a conservar y prolongar la vida y buen estado de berries, fresas, zarzamoras.Ayuda a evitar la oxidación de las fresas.Debería de haber en más tamaños.

Sirve para guardar frutos rojos. No se si realmente ayude a que duren mas.
