Great for that cenematic look for your GoPro
Now, GoPro's, nor any action camera for that matter are not the ultimate in video making as far as overall quality is concerned, but they have come a long way over the years, and utilizing a polarizer/neutral density filtering needs will help the camera out even more. This set comes in a nice plastic case with a foam insert for storing the filters and polarizer safely. Each filter is finely ground and polished and appears to not have any aberrations or defects so does not effect the image quality at all, other than providing extra F stops for your GoPro (headroom) for brightly lit situations, such as bright sunny days or snow that might overwhelm the camera and cause it to potentially overexpose. It's like adding sunglasses to your camera so no affecting the color rendition in any way but it does add one benefit, adds motion blur if you set the camera up correctly as the aperture is fixed at F2, but dropping the F stop down at least 2 "clicks", double the the shutter speed from your frame rate (say, 30 frames per second [FPS] so set the shutter to 1/60 sec and et voila, you have motion blur. At that setting, best not to have hypersmooth on as the shutter is not fast enough for it to work properly. Fine if you have the camera mounted on the car as it's rock steady, even when driving, but handheld, it develops jitters, don't want that, so turn off. Exception, when you shoot at 60 FPS, then set the shutter to 1/240, then the shutter is fast enough for hypersmooth to work.Due to the fact that the sun is now lower in the sky as it's now early Sept 2024, I found that the ND 32 filter left the image a tad under exposed, but mild correcting in post will fix that so today (Sept 5th), I'll try the ND 16 at the same settings I used yesterday (shooting in 4K, 30FPS, shutter at 1/30, ISO at 100, though I probably could have gotten away with 200, min/max for the ISO.That said, the polarizer is also good as it can, in some situations be better than the ND filters and one way is shooting water, it can reduce the glare of the sun on the water, allowing you to see clearly through the water to the bottom, among other things, but best used at roughly a 90* from the reflective surface. This polarizer, you can rotate to adjust its effectiveness as needed. Some sets do not have this feature and thus are fixed. Again, the polarizer, also known as a PL filter shoes no aberrations and does not effect the overall color balance as it is in some ways a ND filter, but does not affect the F stops like a ND will.Overall, this fits the GoPro line well. I have the Hero 9 and am thinking eventually get a later model, like the Hero 12, or 13 for other features like support for timecode. That said, this kit is a handy thing to have, and for some, indispensable for shooting video, even if just with a GoPro.

Product is as advertised
The product itself is fine. The quality, size, etc., is just like as if it was original GoPro type accessories. The ND filter dimensions are basically exactly the same dimensions as the original lens, which ensures this will fit with other accessories such as silicon skins, and so on. The locking mechanism works perfect, just like originals. The lens optical quality is what you would expect for this type of product. I can no faults with the product itself as advertised. There is something else to say. In actual use, only the ND4 and ND8 are going to be useful. I cannot imagine a real world situation where ND16 and ND32 (definitely) are useful, certainly not handheld or any action (mounted or otherwise). The GoPro Hero 9 simply does not have good enough low light capability for that many stops. The e-stabilization really falls apart when trying to use the ND16 and ND32 filters, even in full Florida sun. The camera also struggles with varying light conditions, as its auto adjustment range becomes very limited the higher ND stop filter you use; it really messes up the exposure. I suspected this would be the case before I bought this, and it was confirmed very quickly. I wish this set had a lower range, including half stops. Maybe ND1.5, ND2, ND3, ND4, ND6, ND8. Something like that. Most would probably agree that CPL, ND2, ND4, ND8 would probably be the best four set for anyone looking to use the camera for its intended purpose. Anything beyond that is simply not an action camera usage. Perhaps they can make a second set that continues with ND16, ND32, etc., for those trying to use an action camera for other uses. It seems for those users, you are better off getting the step up ring, which allows you to use standard screw in filtersAs advertised, I give the product five stars. It is a great product. I do wish it was a lower range of ND stops, as ND16 and ND32 is not useful for any action or handheld purpose.

Works on SUNNY days
I have used this ND filters on both my GoPro Hero9 and Hero11..Very effective in glare reduction and increasing light stops..The only filter that I have not used is the ND1000 but the rest is very useful in sunny days and cool timelapse feature effects on the GoPro.Installation my take a bit of force and getting use to at first but when you get the hang of it then it going to be a breeze.

I use it for my gopro hero 12 for my motorcycle helmet. It adds motion blur and more centamatic shots. Super easy to install and great quality. Also doesn't break the bank.
