I bought this because I had to attend a funeral about 4 hours away and would not be taking my 3 month old exclusively breast fed baby. I needed a convenient way to pump on the go as the day would be very busy with travel and did not want to have to leave /miss services in order to pump so I wanted to be able to conveniently pull over into a parking lot, get a coffee and pump in peace/privacy in the SUV (we have tinted windows so its still fairly private). It worked great! worked fantastic for the breast pump and did the job. HOWEVER - I thought i'd be able to plug in a hair straighter and my espresso machine and maybe i'm just dumb about power related items but yes it did blow the fuse in my car, however the built in power surge protector worked and protected my expensive hair straightener from damage. After replacing the blown fuse it worked great.
