Great as a kitchen caddy for compostable materials.
Be sure to check to see if the item you are ordering has the filters with it or not, I had to go to the company's website and order them after the fact. Solid caddy, fairly easy to clean and great for under the sink.

Bad Lid Latch Design
Bad one for me. Try opening the lid with one hand while holding the scraps to be dumped in the other hand. See mess on floor. Bad lid latch design.

Excellent compost bin
Great compost bin. No fruit flies at all, we keep ours under the sink and have had some 100 degree days and it never stinks or attracts flies.Better than those metal compost bins, that get gross and are hard to clean. Easy to clean. Quality product.

Some handy design features, like the lid detent. And the perforated lid much reduces the smell caused by anaerobic bugs

Keeps any and all odors locked inside completely!!!! Huge win...
This is the best by far, compost container we’ve owned. This is the only compost container that has kept the odor locked 100% inside. You can’t smell anything in the air until you open the lid. So we haven’t had any problems keeping it on the kitchen counter. Then you open the container and then you can smell and are reminded of what it’s locked inside. It has a snap shut lid which has worked very well. And it’s one of the larger containers comparatively. The negatives for me are that I wish the lids came in various colors like tan, not just green. Other than that, I very much recommend this compost container.
