I bought two of these for use on a floating counter top with two sinks. These look much better than your typical white PVC P trap. It comes with a rubber plug that is intended to be pressed into the drain connection at the wall but while i think that would work to create a leak free connection i certainly did not have any trust in the connection. I was able to make the connection at the wall with a standard nut and washer like most all other sink connections. I am very pleased with the look of this drain and the quality of the parts are adequate for the intended use.

The media could not be loaded. I haven't ever needed to open it since it was installed.This p trap is awesome,No leaks so far. Plumber said this is the most spectacular p trap he's ever installed. The lighter center is the added piece.

Looks nice, feels solid. only complaint was the short top pipe piece, I had to get another longer piece separately and replace the one came with this to fit our vanity height.

Probably easiest said, you get what you pay for. The one I got had rough machining on the threads and leaked. Even with thread sealer. Tossed it in the trash and ordered the delta.

This felt a bit light

I haven’t installed it yet but I can verify that the matte black is almost a perfect match to Kohler’s purist modern matte blac color. I tried really hard to attach a picture of the two brands next to each other,Other than that it is pretty heavy and appears to be of decent quality. Hope that helps!”

easy to install and no leaks

If you want the plumbing under your vanity to look awesome, this is for you! The matte black finish is elegant, and the trap comes apart easily for cleaning--simply unscrew the bottom cap, which is sealed with an O-ring.
