The blanket was well made and not expensive. It felt nice to the touch and it did not feel flimsy or cheap. It had a nice comfortable weight to it. The person I gave it to was excited to take it on the plane with her. She travels a lot. She liked that it was big, but not bulky.

Beautiful but a little thinner than expected

I actually received this for a gift from a co-worker when I retired. I loved it so much I purchased it for another co-worker that was retiring. It is so soft and cozy; and the words on it are very true !! Lots of good suggestions for when you retire.

As it happens the deeper color of “red” is more of a burgundy, which happens to be just right for me, but may be misleading to others. I love the weight of this blanket. I have a floor fan that I use to take some of the pressure off the AC, but it happens to blow right on me, which I don’t like. This blanket is perfect to cover my legs, but not make me hot. Plus it is super soft!
