Im not sure if it was the shipping or the storage in warehouse of this product but it was very messy and loose when i opened it.  all in all this is a winner among the squirrels and you can always place the loose food in a bowl by your door. Also, I couldn't put this log on the log feeder because it's pretty solid on the inside but the seed and nuts kept coming loose on the outside.

When it first arrived, both ends of the tower were crumbled  possibly due to packaging.  And when I put is on my feeder within an hour (with the help of jays ans squirrels) it crumbled to the ground where it will get eaten but not what I wanted.

This treat was enjoyed by birds, squirrels, groundhogs, and a cute little baby possum. There was a decent mix of ingredients, and it looked and smelled good. Pecans aren't cheap, and there were lots of pecans in this mix.
