Excellent Sounding Wireless Microphone System That Runs On AA Batteries
The media could not be loaded. I have only been using this for a couple of days but am impressed with the performance. I recently tested another Nady VHF unit that I liked a lot but had two small issues that bugged me. The first was the use of 9 volt batteries. I never seem to have them around so I know at some point I'll have to make an emergency run to the store to get some. This unit used AA batteries and while the specs call for alkaline batteries a set of Ni-MH rechargeables worked great. The second issue was some interference in my basement due to all the electrical objects running. This unit did not have that problem. The main advantage here it that the unit uses the 900MHz band which gives it a bit more clarity than the VHF band. I was able to set the receiver up in my basement and walk all around the house without the signal breaking up. Great if you like to move around when podcasting or more likely if you are speaking in front of an audience where you want to move around as you speak. The unit is very easy to set up and use. You can export the audio out of the device either by a single phono cable or by a pair of XLR cables. If you use the phono cable both microphones get exported together and the dials on the front will adjust the volume of the microphones. If you use XLR cables the dials on the device do nothing and each channel is sent to a mixing board or whatever you are using to process the audio. In the video I am using the XLR output so the audio chain is microphone -> receiver -> XLR output -> dbx channel strip -> mixing board -> Zoom audio recorder.Overall I am liking this unit quite a bit. It has excellent quality sound, runs on AA batteries and is quite easy to set up. Highly recommended.

Great clarity and easy setup!
I purchased this to use at my local church and am so glad that I did! I have been using this for about a week and am impressed by the performance thus far. One thing right off that I would recommend is looking into rechargeable batteries as that is something that I will be looking for soon as it will make it so I do not have to replace the batteries when I do not have them.I found in using this that the reception that I got was strong, even through the wall that I have between the sanctuary and where we place out microphone base.I liked using this unit because it was using the 900MHz band which seems to give a better sound clarity than in using VHF as we had been using in the past. The setup for this unit was easy and we were able to use this with ease in the space that we had.You get everything that you need to initially set this up. You can export the audio out from the microphones either by a single phono cable or by a pair of XLR cables. I found that if you use the phono cable both microphones get exported together and the dials on the front will adjust the volume of the microphones however if you use XLR cables the dials on the device do nothing and each channel is sent to a mixing board which was not a problem because we already have a board that we use.So far this unit has been great and is providing me with everything that we need! I highly recommend this to all!

Great Value-Pleasantly Surprised at the sound vs the price
I bought the pair of handhelds to round out inventory for a stage show with 14 very powerful singers. I read the other reviews and wanted to try digital mics and figured for the price, I wasn't risking too much. I have my Sure SM58's as my primary, and when one of the singers first picked one of these up, they wanted to know if it was a prop or a toy because it was so light. After the 2nd rehearsal, the strongest singers in the show who had a preference wanted to switch to these. I set the high end flat and boosted the low end on the EQ and I get a very rich sound that supports a wide range without distortion.Be sure to understand that these mics come pre-set with a frequency in the 900 range that is NOT adjustable. I only bought one pair preset to 915.30 MHz and 916.80 MHz. I don't know if each pair sold is pre-set to those same frequencies or if you can request specific presets. I also agree with those reviews that mention the loose power switch on the mic. I am going to remove the cover to see if the actual switch can be tightened, but for this current show the mics are turned on and stay on, so I am adding a piece of black gaff tape to prevent accidental shut off.

Don't try to use more than two receiver at once.
I bought 3 of the DW-22 two with handhelds and one with the Lapel. When I installed the first one, one of the channels didn't work. For my surprise, all of the receivers came with the same 2 frequencies, so when i connected the second receiver I couldn't use both mic. Only one mic per frequency so I end up returning 2 of them. (My bad for not reading the product description entirely). If you want to get only one, it works excellent, but you can't use more than one receiver at the same time.

I Was Pleasantly Surprised!
My girlfriend and I have a duo and play professionally between 3 and 4 nights a week. I had an EV wireless which finally died after years of good service. As I was searching for a replacement, I stumbled across this Nady dual unit. Wasn’t expecting much for the price but was pleasantly surprised. Easy to set up. Inserted two AA batteries in each and set up in my studio. Sang a few duets with my girlfriend and did some EQing. Took them out that night and got compliments on our sound. We were told our harmonies sounded better than ever, never telling anyone we changed mics. Minimal feedback considering we had our Bose system set up directly behind us due to space constraints. I am running them flat with just a little turn down in the mid range. Works great for our needs. Still tweaking her and my voices individually, EQ and reverb. Getting better each time. The EV may have had a slightly warmer sound out of the box, but the crisp sound quality of these work fine for us.
