I like the fact that it is heavy duty built. It works amazing and I would recommend this product. One thing that I would say it could be better, the punch hole tools could be sharper and that is what makes the process kind of hard.

I am overall happy with the press, although the handle just attaches with the screw and it is a little bit loose it works fine. Also the dyes that came with the unit and the grommets work well. The grommets however are lighter in weight and not the best quality, but work fine for light duty stuff. The punches that came with it are completely useless. Ended up throwing them away and buying a decent set. Overall this is still a good value, and I really don’t have too many complaints. Better punches in this would’ve been a five star review.

Got as a gift and they loved it! Extremely great quality and easy to assemble and use! Elevated looks for sure.

I bought this about 6 months ago, but things came up that kept me from starting the project that needed it. I got to work on the project today, 5 grommets later, the base cracked in half. Definitely can't recommend and potentially dangerous since you're applying force when it snaps. Note also that the grommet dies don't seem to fit anything but the junk grommets you see on Amazon. Quality grommets will not for correctly. Do yourself a favor, skip this press.I did however pull apart and save any bits that could be salvaged. Might use the press cylinder with a hammer to install other grommets.

Don't get me wrong this product gets the job done, however, the grommets provided are really flimsy, the tool for cutting the hole is not sharp, and when I'm using the machine I feel like the lever is going to break in half at any moment. I guess it's a good product for the price because it does what it says it will do but don't expect to be wowed!

I was not looking forward to doing hand sewn or hammered grommets and instead bought this. I got the cast iron version and it works fabulously. It did rock a little but I plan on bolting it down to my work bench so that won't be an issue beyond this first use. I just used it after unboxing on my daughter's hobbit clothes and it only took me five minutes to hammer the holes and then use the press for the grommets. 10/10 would recommend.

Works great. Easy to change sizes. But needs tied down. I screwed mine to a board.

“Rufus” repeatedly suggests referring to the User Manual, however there was none, nor was there any instructions! What a pain trying to figure this out.
