Magnificent Global Economics Analysis
I am someone who has always struggled to understand some of the big-picture stuff. Sure, I could tell you what a Bond is, and explain a little about the yield curves, but I never *really* understood it . . . . until I read Anna Coulling's book!Coulling presents such a spectacular easy-to-understand description of ALL the different markets and how they interconnect. Granted this book is directed toward the Forex trader, but even if you're trading equities or futures, this book is indispensable if you want to have big-picture comprehension of the financial world at large.Note: If you are really trying to ingest this, it is NOT a quick read . . . . but definitely worth the hours I invested into reading it.

Superbly written, clear, lots of information, best value for Your money.
Excellent overview plus an in depth analysis and explanation of the "big picture" of Forex trading. Easy to read, retain and certainly use in my foray into forex. Thank you Anna for making the complicated, complex subject matter easy to comprehend. This book is a MUST read if you are trying to learn on what to learn and where to start. I read this book before Forex for Beginners but this is a much better explanation of what you need to know about the whole market as it relates to forex. Forex for Beginners is great as well.

Comprehensive background on forex trading
This book is not a forex strategy book or a guide to getting rich. What it is is a great explanation of how the markets work. The first two sections, on cross market relationships and market fundamentals respectively, are essential for not only forex traders but virtually anyone with a position in the financial markets. The final section goes region by region and gives an overview of all the countries who are or are about to be factors in the global market. This section is more geared to forex traders than the first two but even here there is a lot of information of value to folks who invest or trade in international bonds and equities or commodities as well as the targeted forex traders. The biggest drawback of this book in my opinion (and the reason it has only four stars) is, at least in the Kindle version, that it is in desperate need of copy editing. The author's knowledge of financial markets is comprehensive but of punctuation, not so much. There are commas sprinkled randomly where no comma belongs, periods in places where the commas ought to be, the word "then" inserted liberally and unnecessarily then in the most unlikely places. Taken together the lack of copy editing makes the book a little bit tough to parse. However the value of the information makes it well worth the effort.

Truly wonderful book
Really, this the most detailed and honest book about forex trading I have ever read. The author puts a lot of emphasis not only on providing and explaining facts, but also on debunking common myths or fallacies. I have never spent 6 bucks in a wiser way than buying this book. It really opens your eyes and your mind about the underground processes in the currency markets. Surely the amount of information in the book is overwhelming - don't expect to put everything in your head at once. But it leaves you subconscious clues which are likely to pop up during your actual trading. It is one of those books which you will get back to for many times. Anna, please accept a big THANK YOU from an aspiring forex trader.

A 3 dimensional approach to reading.
I advise the read to take their time reading this books. It is extremely filled with high value education. However if you read to fast you will get confused. I recommend reading a section at a time and studying the section before moving on. I will definitely read this book again as I did not follow my advise and just read through the book without really studying it but I did retain some info. Anna Coulling did amazing in informing the reader in depth on a 3 dimensional approach. Once again besides the misspelling, she did not disappoint. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL TRADERS NO MATTER THEIR EXPERIENCE.

Kind of "Miss Marple on Forex": sincere, intelligent, but long-winded. Unreadable charts.
Lots of good information,in a badly-edited, rambling book. Repeats a lot from her other books. It is VERY difficult to read her charts---which she describes in color---but PRINTS in B&W! I have tried to apply the methods she mentions, without much success: it seems, IMHO, that (as other authors sometimes do with one and two bar candlestick patterns) she "cherry-picks" her VPA trading examples: often one can see places on her own charts, where using her technique would have actually resulted in serious losses. I realize that no ONE trading approach will always work, but I am afraid that her jaunty "Mary Poppins knows best" tone may lead some newbie traders to blindly follow her approach and plunge into the deep water BEFORE they are truly ready...

a true gem on intermarket analysis (bought paperback even after reading it on kindle)
Big props to the author as i really enjoyed this book...to be honest it was even better than john murphy's intermarket analyis.Very well written, and by that I mean that everything is explained with a degree of simplicity leaving out the majority of unnecessary information thats useless for trading. Reading this with prior experience in the field allows u to appreciate it even more.its important to understand that this in not a trading system....but more importantly its an "approach" to how to analyze, prepare and overall read the market.the burden of turning this analysis into money will always lie on each individual trader and their specific trading approach.(im new to the volume analysis stuff...but has been a useful tool for me with very short term trading)
