When it arrived and I saw it was in what looked like a shrink wrapped trashbag I knew it had to be broken. UPS shipped this to me - ground - across the country - it must be all cracked and beat up in there.I took the photo to use as proof of how it shipped to me as I assumed I would be making a claim.Nope. It’s absolutely perfect in there. Give that this tub travelled unprotected cross country via UPS like this - I’m sure it will out live me.Unbelievable.Works great, holds a full 40lb bag of Costco Kirkland pellets, which is what I bought it to do.Has to be 5 stars.

Love the pour feature, finally a container the squirrels can’t get into.

It's pretty big and since it holds a full 40lb bag of pellets it is indeed heavy. Highly recommend taping down the lid (pour spout end) to keep weight of pellets from popping it loose when pouring! Pellets pour slowly from the spout. This is a plus or minus depending on your opinion. Overall it's a bit better than pouring into hopper directly from a bag. But on the other hand, your still pouring from a bag into this dispenser.......

I have used this product for many years for my bird food; dog food; and cat food. Ants and other bugs don’t have a chance. Sturdy and very easy to fill and to empty into bowls.

I bought it based on a reviewer saying it kept their BBQ pellets dry. The first time it rained my pellets were ruined. I think the pour spout is the problem. That design can't possibly be water tight. I'm getting by with a kitchen garbage bag pulled over the top. I would not buy it again for outdoor use.

This storage container is absolutely perfect to store. The wood pellets that I use in my pellet smoker. While it is not waterproof or water-resistant, it is the perfect shape and functions beautifully with its poor spout to fill the hopper on my smoker. Keeping it in the garage is no problem as even the previous Home Depot buckets that I had stored outside with a gamma lid that was supposedly waterproof leaked and cost me lots of wet pellets.

I like the location of the handle at the top and bottom, making it easy to pick up and pour into the feeder.
