Our tree needed leaves so these seemed like a no-brainer. They are absolutely beautiful on our tree, give it color and dimension, and we can easily write on them to place them on the tree. The ONLY downfall is that the leaves wouldn't stay on the tree. I can't say for certain it was the lack of adhesion because I think they'd stick to a piece of paper just fine. I think it's the fact I'm sticking it to a wall, dirty at that. These were purchased and used for display purposes only but would function perfectly well as actual post-it notes (and add a lovely natural element to your desk space without the maintenance!)
