Wanted a brush like my mom has had for years! Sturdy! GREAT scrub brush!

I wanted a non-plastic brush for cleaning my bathtub. Because the wood is untreated, I put several coats of butcher block oil on it (avoiding the bristles) before use. I would imagine any oil or sealer meant for wood would work, but I used what I had on hand. Yes, it stinks for a while when it gets wet. Kind of a dead-fish-meets-roadkill smell. I won't lie, it's gross. I didn't smell when it was dry, and it didn't linger after I was done using it or it would have been a dealbreaker. Keep using it and the smell will fade - my brush no longer smells, or it's faint enough that I no longer notice it. It's scrubby enough to remove bathtub grime, but not too harsh. So far, no bristle loss, and the handle has not cracked. Let dry with the bristles down and it should last a while. Overall I'm pleased and will likely buy another when this one wears out.

I wanted a real wooden rectangular cleaning brush. This is way better than the plastic brushes and well made.

Very glad to find this small hand brush in wood and natural fibers! Very sad when the tufts started falling out. I used a small screwdriver to shove them back in and gave every tuft a dab of super glue. Hope they hold for a while.

It just is the perfect type of brush that I have used for many tough jobs. I was glad to see they are still available.
