By far, the best account of the Apollo program I have ever read! So thoroughly researched and written in an entertaining, freshly-told and captivating style that is hard to put down!! Highly recommended.

I was 12 when Apollo 11 landed on the moon.There are many books about this, but this one is different and about the men & women behind the scenes.Do NOT think that is not interesting, it is! Very well written too, a completely different outlook and all the better for it.

O Museu Smithsonian fez uma artigo sobre a conquista da Lua extraindo informações deste livro, o que me motivou à comprá-lo.Acontece que o artigo é bem melhor do que o livro, que traz detalhes em excesso e muita questões que não somam na história.

Really nice work and a good read but so many things are repeated and repeated. They could have packed it into half of the length and it would be great read.

Great book! Very detailed account of a superbly well managed enterprise.Recently I read that Seatle spend several millions in an unfinished bike lane of less than a mile. Seattle city hall should read this book.
