Works
It does what it is advertised to do. It does not perform all the functions as the Mercedes-Benz specific OBD. But for the price it does read the Mercedes-Benz computer along with other major automobile manufacturers ( Chevy, Ford, Nissan, etc). For the price I feel like it is worth the price. My previous OBD (cheaper) would not read the Mercedes-Benz data.

It's saying it is for Mercedes Benz codes but actually, it can’t clear the codes Also read wrong codes. It's not accurate

Money Saver
A light came on on my Mercedes Sprinter and as a result, the van started acting weird - for example, cruise would not engage, signal light would blink faster than it should, etc.. this happened on a Friday and I could not find a workshop that would take a look at it so I bought this scanner and it was delivered the next day, which made it so easy to identify the problem and fix it by replacing a sensor that cost $20:00. A great buy

Easy to use and to understand the various code andresponses.

Used on a 2017 Mercedes Winnebago RV and worked perfectly. Very happy with it.

Re sprinter van
Only works for 2013 and up Mercedes sprinter vans. We have a 2011 2500 and it would not do the codes. If you need a dpf regen, you must have a 2013 and newer even then I can’t tell you if it will work. Once we got it, only 2013 and newer was available on the machine for the def. It works for other codes just not def.

No DPF For Ed Regeneration Function On 906
Does not conduct DPF Regeneration on 906 Sprinter. Not sure for others. However, it does read most codes on sprinters not seen by other regular OBD2 Readers. Price was also affordable. Overall you get what you pay for.

Mercedes-specific scanner that doesn’t tell you Mercedes-specific codes…
Not sure what the point of buying a Mercedes-specific scanner if it can’t tell you the codes? This is no different than any generic OBD-II scanner. It won’t register a new battery with the truck (W164) which is one of the main reasons I bought it for. It will tell you that you have error codes in the other chassis and body modules but won’t tell you what the actual code is. WTF? The “support” is useless so far… I’ll be happy to edit my review if they eventually figure out what car I’m working on… 🙄
