Mercer Culinary Millennia Color Handle Cutlery 7" Santoku Knife (Granton Edge) White

I recently bought several Millennia knives. The first one I used is the 3” paring knife. The knife has far exceeded my expectations. This one quite literally borders on razor sharp. Although, I do not want to get it close enough to my skin to test that theory. Many have commented regarding the various Millennia knives that they cut themselves the first time they used it. I suspect they, like myself, have never used a knife this sharp. These knives do not suffer fools gladly, they demand your respect and full attention. If you keep that in mind, it’s all good.

I don't like taking my expensive knives into work. This is a great alternative. It comes from the factory with a decent edge on it and when sharpened it keeps the edge fairly well. I like the grip as well. When things get greasy the rubber handle doesn't feel like it's going to slip. You can't go wrong with this knife.

So I originally bought this knife because it was a great price with high ratings. I've been using this knife for 3 months and it's almost still just as sharp as the day I bought it! I do a lot of grilling on the weekends so I've had to carve up briskets, trim ribs, and a lot more and it slices through the meat the say way it does butter!I've bought several other more expensive knives that didn't do as well or stay sharp as long so I was shocked that this knife has worked as well as it has for this long.I'm pretty sure I can probably sharpen it a little bit if it ever gets close to dull but I don't see that happening anytime soon. I'll probably buy a second one for everyday use and keep this one just for grilling and meats.

My homemade bread wasn't cutting evenly, even though I had a slicing guide. I wondered if I needed a good bread knife, so I tried this one. I have never had a bread knife that sliced as well as this one does. Very happy with this purchase.

I have never used a Santoku knife before, but wanted to give it a try. It is nice and sharp and so far hasn't dulled, but I haven't used it extensively. The reviews are great for this knife. It is lightweight and easy to hold, but the blade seems a little thinner than other knives I have--maybe that is a characteristic of this type of knife. I'm still holding out on buying the paring knife I also need--until I've given this a bit more use.

I just got this knife I have lent gotten a chance to use it yet but it feels and looks like it will be a strong ad well used knife in my set.

These knives are absolute workhorses. The blades stay sharp after being violently abused for several years with little to no maintenance (used multiple times daily, run through dishwashers, and tossed in metal drawer with other knives); grip is extremely comfortable, can color code for various tasks or personalities, and great price.

Nice knife. The handle should perhaps be slimmer, but the blade is good.It cuts straight, but so far I have only used it for bread. The real test will be shredding a head of cabbage.

This knife represents good bang for the buck. The blade arrives sharp and is composed of a decent quality steel. The handle is ergonomically designed for comfort with rubber grips and texturing where appropriate.

Fillet fish

For the price it seems like a quality blade. Very sharp and well balanced. Only time will tell how long it will stay sharp.
