Works great!
I bought this wedge pillow because I suffer from gastric reflux, especially at night, and my doctor advised me to sleep with the head of the bed raised. I travel a lot so now I have something that I can take with me to help me get a good night’s sleep, wherever I am.Once it’s unfolded, the wedge self-inflates quickly and it’s also easy to deflate it. It comes with velcro straps and a bag, and it looks like a sleeping-bag when it’s packed up. I like that it has a wipe-clean surface – very useful when traveling. It’s very comfortable and does a good job of keeping my gastric reflux at bay during the night. I’m very happy with it!

So far so good but bigger than you expect
I ordered this pillow for travel as my previous inflatable wedge sprung a leak. I chose this because it was self-inflating and that's important when you have asthma. I have used this nightly for over 2 weeks. It is comfortable, and I don't seem to have as much acid reflux. The most important thing I hope people reading this review take away from it is that this pillow is as big, or bigger than the guy states in the video. To put it in perspective, a queen size mattress measure 60" wide, and 80" long. When this travel pillow is inflated, mine measures 31" wide, and 33" long, and 8" tall. So it takes up half the width of a queen size mattress. The covering of the pillow by itself is kind of plastic feeling so I ordered their cover but it didn't fit so I made my own using a lap blanket, folding like gift wrap around it, stitching the upper end.I have not had to re-inflate the pillow during this 2 week period. I like that when it's time to deflate it, I can either roll it up and put it back in the bag it came in, or fold it. Either way, it does take up space. In the end, I would recommend this pillow. I have had to sleep on a wedge pillow for the past 2 years so I'm excited to have found this for travel as my normal home wedge is too bulky being memory foam for travel.

Good Travel Wedge Pillow
I bought this wedge pillow for my needs, and this product works great. It self inflates really well without having to have or use a pump or self to inflate. It may take a bit of time deflate and stuff back into its sack, depending on how strong you are, but otherwise a good, nifty product to have if you need to have a wedge pillow.

Self inflates and helps with reflux
I purchased this wedge to use while traveling. I also bought the cover. You remove it from the convenient storage bag, place it open on a bed and open the valve. The first time I tried it, the wedge didn't fill completely. I contacted the company and they told me to leave it open a couple of hours. When inflated enough, just close the valve. That did the trick! You can also blow it up further if desired, but it tends to give the feel of an air pillow. This wedge has compressed foam that expands when you open the valve. To return it to the storage bag, fold it over top to bottom and open the valve, then compress the air out. I have problems with my hands, so I just knelt on it, using my shins and forearms to push the air out. Then close the valve, roll it up and place in bag. It feels pretty durable. The first 2 nights, we stayed at a hotel with a firm bed. I am 5'4" and 175 pounds. I was able to comfortably sleep on my back or either side. It does take an adjustment if you are used to sleeping on a full length foam wedge, as I am. After that, we stayed with family and slept on a very soft mattress. I found it difficult to get comfortable and awoke with my feet and ankles swollen - which I've never experienced at any time. I believe the problem was the very soft mattress not supporting the wedge. After that, I slept with my shoulders and head on built up pillows and reversed the wedge to elevate my feet, which resolved the swelling in just one night. The cover fit properly and stayed almost completely in place. It may help prevent sliding down, which is an issue in a short wedge cushion like this. All in all, it worked great as long as I didn't try to sleep on a soft mattress. Weird, but true. I will travel with it again. Keep in mind, it rolls up, but will definitely take up lots of space in a suitcase. This was a road trip, so I carried it in a reusable grocery bag, along with the cover in a zip lock bag. I have been searching for a good travel wedge cushion for months and this is easily the best one I've found.

Little challenging deflating it. Be patient.
This works great. It does self inflate just by opening the valve. You can blow air into it to make it firmer. Deflating is a bit of a challenge. You have to lay and roll on it to get the air out. Once most of the air is out, quickly close the valve. I did not get it put back in the bag it came in and this is okay. I did get it rolled up and small enough the holding Velcro bands went around it.

Would give 1/2 of a star if I could
I wanted to love this, especially for what it cost. This is not at all like the description. It may be self inflating, but it does not fully inflate on one side and to top it off, it takes an army to deflate it. Its extremely difficult to deflate and roll up. Which add to my next part of this review…It’s not travel friendly. Takes up way too much space and too heavy. Certainly not for travel if flying and needing to pack you personal belongings.
