Oh it works
I have two of them in separate tanks(75g and 55g)both are the medium size. I like it comes with a metal blade and a plastic blade. Strong magnets or magnet.

Works great
Strongest magnet ever! I mistakenly put it together before putting it in tank. I had to get a knife and use all my strength to get it apart. My husband tried to get it apart and couldn’t. Works really well.

You do not have to stick your hands in the aquarium water.
This product is awesome! first time I used a magnetic cleaning tool. Works perfect, I do not have to stick my hand in the aquarium water to clean the glass.

It works so good
Works very well. The magnet is very strong. Do not stick it together outside of the tank. It took me and my son-in-law to separate it. I have a 30 tall 300 gal tank it it took me 5 minutes to do the whole tank!

I wish I had known of Hygger sooner!
Update: I’ve had this for a year and a half and it’s still great! Only downside is that I have to replace it due to some sanitation issues —not due to the product, but I cannot for the life of me get it clean enough to kill off some sort of bacteria that has infected my tank 3 times. Not sure if maybe it’s the scrubber section? But a 30 minute bleach bath didn’t do the trick. Anyhow, still a good product, and worth the money under the assumption that you’re not replacing it.Like other reviewers, I had never heard of Hygger or seen them in any of my local fish stores, but the solid reviews made me hopeful. Let me just be clear: this product is FANTASTIC for a glass tank.My 30gal tank was in rough shape - green algae, hard water residue and worst of all, red slime algae (cyanobacteria) taking over my glass. The two scrapers I had before (one with a "soft" scraper, one with a "hard" scraper - kinda feels like velcro?) couldn't put a meaningful dent in it.The exterior handle on this product is comfortable, and it covers a decently large area so you're not cleaning like 2 inches at a time. The magnetic grip is super strong but not impossible to separate like some people warned. You just twist one side 90 degrees and it slips off. But this also means it's not falling off in the tank. Even if it does, the scraper side FLOATS! My last scraper would sink into the substrate and then you have to clean it thoroughly so you're not accidentally scratching the glass with tiny bits of substrate. Not a problem here. The scraper itself did a pretty good job breaking up the newer algae growths and hard water residue. It wasn't quite tough enough to break up the red slime algae, but clicking on the razor blade attachment was very simple and I didn't even get my fingers anywhere near the blade. The blade made relatively quick work of the rest of the algae and the combo of blade and scraper made cleaning a breeze. Finally, my tank is back to a clear quality and I can enjoy my pets again in all their glory. Taking the razor off to store was also very easy and once again - did not run into any issues in terms of nicking fingers.Only thing I can think of is that if you have an acrylic tank you might have an issue because it's so effective? (Update to add you can use the plastic scraper provided for acrylic tanks.) A bow front might be a challenge too, not sure as I've never owned one. But for a rectangular glass tank, this is perfect. Definitely worth the price.

Love it .great purchase
Having 10 aquariums, makes it a breeze to clean the glass. this is not for an acrylic tank. Please don’t use it for that.. don’t put the two pieces together. You’ll have to get a butter, knife and slide it under to get them apart. I learned a hard lesson. I did all 10 aquariums in an hour very fast also great for the bottom where the gravel meets the glass and you can see all the dirt well I can’t stand that so I slide it carefully along the bottom and that’s taken care of. I have two others that I never use because the magnet never stays together. I won’t be leaving this in my aquarium I WOULD rather put it back in a box or container. Keep it nice and clean seeing it would be close to the water level. I’m afraid it will pick up algae from the light. I bought this for $23 for the smaller of the two plenty big for a 75+ aquarium too big is awkward for me? have fun I had no algae in tank.so I can’t see if it would remove it, but it certainly removes the filmy coating on your glass. try it you don’t like it. Send it back Amazon guarantees it.
