Firehouse Technology Dual White Strobe Light for DJI Inspire 1 2 Mavic Pro Phantom Spark Quadcopters RC Plane

Really bright anti collision light. I have only used it a couple of times but the charge stay in the unit. Ugly little thing though sitting on top of my Mavic Air 2S with a piece of adhesive. I'd like to 3d print some kind of housing to make it more attractive

This Firehouse drone collision strobe is a super good product superbly doing what it should (be very bright). The battery, though light weight and very small, easily powers the lights longer than my three drone batteries will keep drone in the air. Because mine arrived without sticky tape, I used very light-weight hook & loop which does great. Regarding Adorama as a dealer for this product: I bought from the page that had description stating that the offering was for two (2) of these strobes because Firehouse had learned from experience that that was what most customers were buying, and decided to market a double package for that purpose. Adorama used double package description but did not include a second unit. After several back and forth messages with Adorama through Amazon, Adorama decided to err on the side of profit over integrity. I decided to profit Firehouse via eBay at a lower price.

This light is great at being bright, it’s insane how bright it is to be honest for the size. But I have a few shortcomings in a few other areas, #1, this is a micro USB product, which is one of the worst plugs in existence, it’s annoying how they couldn’t have had splurged 15 more cents to get a USB c outlet which is so much better. #2 I’m not asking for a case, as I’m using this on a DJI mini 2 which requires it to be light, but 1 layer for this crappy plastic to cover it is really annoying. I wish they put 2 layers. #3 they include double sided tape in the box, but as once you put it on the drone, it’s not easy to get off I would recommend you to buy some velcro and use that instead.At being lite, and being a great Light, it excels, but there are some ways to improve.

Using this on DJI Mini 2.Mini's are very hard to see when they get several hundred feet away and this little strobe does a great job spotting the little bugger. Much better when overcast v/s a sunny day for what I hope are obvious reasons.This strobe is not pretty, a circuit board w/ cree leds, a charging port, and a micro switch. the rechargeable battery on the backside all kept together with clear shrinkwrap.On the subject of the Shrinkwrap, Mine was a bit loose and the thickness of the wrap seemed thin and vulernable. I further wrapped my unit with a thin strip of (thicker) clear packing tape, to which I applied a strip of velcro for mounting on the rear underside of my Mini2. Note; you really do not need much velcro. The low profile or ultra-thin velcro is all you'll need to keep this securely attached.I do wish this strobe was smaller and that the shrinkwrap was more substantial.Over it serves very well and as others have stated it is almost blindingly bright when at arm's length even in bright daylight (I prefer to hand launch & recover).

This little thing is bright, very bright. When I first received the light I thought I got ripped off and all the reviews was just hyped up… This thing is the size of a large postage stamp, but don’t be fooled like I was. This little light is Bright, very Bright… I charged it up which was a matter of a few minutes to full charge. When I turned it on and was instantly blinded. I don’t really know how long the battery lasts but I’ve used it for about 3 - 4 hours and have not charged it again. Definitely a great product, will be ordering more in the near future.

As a Part 107 UAV pilot, I wanted the ARC strobes to be in compliance for night flights if needed. The Firehouse Technology strobes are so bright that it surprises anybody who looks at my drone when the lights are activated. I ordered 2 of these units (in white.) I put one on top (for visibility by manned aircraft) and one on the left rear leg of the drone, facing forward. I use this on "flash" and it gives me an indication of my drone facing me when I yaw the drone during flight. Super bright and easy to use/attach.

Very bright light for my drones. Only thing I wished it came with velcro instead of tape.

Perfect little light for my Air 2s. Wanted something lightweight to not interfere with performance, but bright enough to abide by the rules.ONLY issue a have had right out of the box was the heat shrink cracked somehow and came apart during transit? Doubt they sent it out like that. Used some clear heat shrink to fix it and used a thinker type.
