Love this book !
Love this book. Not only some great reciepes but easy and with things in my cupboard.Have given it to my son who is a chef, and he loves it.!

Not for everyone...
This is a "safe" book for this chief that is my opinion.I loved the comments in the book and I am still fascinated by Chief Marco's history, from starting a restaurant and using a new bold approach to cooking French cuisine, accompanied then winning an esteemed 3 Michelin Stars; at such a young age is awesome.This "any one can cook these recipes" which I gleamed in the title (Marco Made Easy: A Three-Star Chef Makes It Simple. Marco Pierre White) along with some of the reviews online, are to me, a little misleading. Nearly all the main ingredients called for, I am finding really too hard to locate or locally source and most; not all but some of the recipes; are too overwhelming if you are not an experienced cook in French cuisine.

An unfortunate waste
There is no doubt that Marco Pierre White is a talented and important chef. However, if you're looking to buy one of his books don't buy this one. I have a lot of cookbooks and this is without question the worst of them. It is borderline insulting.

Great book
Don't be put off thinking these meals are going to be complex, they may look stunning,but are very easy, any decent home cook should be able to manage most if not all of these recipes.If you know what Reduction, Deglazing and Caramelisation are, then this book will be a welcome addition inyour kitchen.If you like to cook, (and eat), produce little works of art on a plate, quickly, easily,without too many ingredients, then this bookis definitely worth a place on your book shelf.

Bit underwhelming
For sure the recipes in this book are good but for many the steps are repeated. This was Marco going through a minimalist 'keep it simple and about the produce' phase so don't expect much revelation except for some good sauces, there aren't many wholesome 'home food' dishes here, more like restaurant food simplified. Half the recipes are steaks and almost all the desserts are boiled fruit of some sort.

Best cooking book EVER!
This is by far the best cookery book there is. Impress your guests with little to no effort, you almost feel you're conning them! The book is well written and very simple to follow. The ketchup chicken is my favourite!

EXCELLENT! Fast, simple but classy ideas.
Great addition to any receipe book library. Good range of food types, simple but very effective ingredients; good photography. Have cooked the Peppered Steak, using Worcestershire Sauce & cream....... brilliant!! So simple, yet a very classy result.
