Finding a great mineral sunscreen is a tall task. This is the best mineral sunscreen that I have found. It has a pleasant, lightly citrus scent and rubs in easily without leaving any white cast. After it's applied, you barely notice that it's there, with no oily/thick feeling like many mineral sunscreens (or non-mineral as well). It's easily applied even when you have hair on your skin. Highly recommend!

I tried this product for the first time. I am fair and went to the Caribbean for 10 days. I can tell you that I did not burn at all. It smells like oranges and is pleasant. It blends very well and does not leave a chalky white look after you rub it in. I just reordered to use under my makeup for everyday use. It leaves your skin glowing not greasy. Apply very small amounts. If its greasy feeling it means you used too much. Apply 30 minutes before you go out and reapply after 80 minutes in the sun. Highly effective. Thanks.

This review is for the 4oz body sunscreen. This was a rather surprising find. I was not expecting this to be as elegantly formulated as it is. It works into the skin like a light-weight lotion and the price is great for the quality and amount you’re getting - it really compares in price to some drugstore brands whose mineral offerings are thick and messy to work with. This is an especially great product to use on kids in the summer - perfect for beach days - as it is water and sweat resistant and it also offers a high degree of protection with a 23.5% zinc oxide concentration.It is also harder for those of us with brown skin to use a mineral sunscreen due to the purple-grey overcast it causes. While chemical sunscreens are fine to use, they are not the best options for sensitive skin or children’s skin so it takes a lot of trial and error for those with deeper skin tones to find the right mineral sunscreen. This one has a very minimal cast - I would not say invisible but no non-tinted mineral sunscreen will be truly invisible due to the nature of zinc oxide. Because of how easily this one works into the skin it is totally worth it. It is very lotion-like in texture. This avoids the excessive rubbing that most other mineral sunscreens require, which can be harsh on sensitive skin. Also, kids won’t stay still long enough to rub in a thick gloopy formula into their skin - this is a consistency kids can even rub in themselves so that will make summer outings a lot easier. I will be reaching for this one as my go-to this summer.I cannot attest to how the body sunscreen will work on the face, as I intend to use this on the body, but I if you have medium brown skin and/or don’t mind a bit of a cast, I can imagine this will be just fine to use on the face. The formula however might be a bit too heavy for the face, particularly if you have sensitive skin. For deeper skin tones, in the summertime, I would recommend opting for a water resistant tinted sunscreen for the face.

I love this company and this product; it's one of a few that offer "regenerative" repair to sun damaged skin. The formula is thick but spreads pretty easily, and it smells great. If you're using this on your while body and applying correctly (generously), it won't last very long. From that perspective it is expensive, but potentially worth it for a good, clean product that protects and repairs your skin.

This is a great sunblock! It's easily applied and absorbs into the skin very well, unlike some of the other mineral based brands. I bought it because of the fact that it's reef safe for my trip to the Galapagos Islands but will continue to purchase it going forward. I was out in the sun and in the water constantly during my trip and did not burn once. I really love this sunblock!

This sunscreen is AMAZING!!! My first time ever buying/trying it and I am so glad I did! Pretty freaking expensive. $30 a bottle after tax?? But dude I love this stuff. Has a nice light lemon smell, rubs in easily without leaving any white residue like most mineral sunscreens, and works perfectly. We were out in 100° heat and didn't sunburn at all. Love love love.
