Excellent SUP, Fantastic Value
This sup is fantastic! My brother has a Hala Carbon, which costs over $1000, and side-by-side, the quality of materials and construction between the Hala and the Roc seem identical to me. Sure, the carbon stringers provide a much stiffer ride for use on the ocean / choppy water, but they come at a really high cost, and if you're not trying to paddle through breakers, they're simply not necessary. I use this board only on Arizona rivers and lakes, and it has been wonderful. The PVC is thick and durable, the eyelets are stout and plentiful, and the foam decking is expansive, thick and durable. Everything about it looks and feels top notch. And, to top it off, it's good-looking, too! Now, how does it ride? It's fast. I've used it on lakes and slow-moving rivers, always with a group of friends, and it seems like everyone else always has to paddle more/harder than me to maintain the same speed. It's not quite as stable as some other boards out there, but that all comes down to width - it's not the widest board you can get. That's not to say it's tipsy; it's just not gonna ride like an inflatable dock. (There's no free lunch.) It tracks really well, too. I had to cut the fin down by about 50% to get more clearance for days when the river is running low and there are shallow spots (<8" deep) to navigate, and it's still super easy to keep pointed in the right direction. Those smaller fixed fins really do seem to help a lot. I'll probably order a second fin, which I'll leave at full length, for lake use, but it's not imperative. One of the things that I like about this particular model is that it has a higher weight capacity (350 lbs) and inflation pressure capability (20 psi max) than most others. This allows me to ride along with my dog and gear, as well as provides better handling through the moderate chop that can be encountered on larger lakes. Lastly, the second hold-down bungee at the stern is really handy. You can never have too much storage. The 3-piece paddle does its job well. It's solid when assembled and easy to store and transport when broken down. I was a little skeptical towards the pump in the beginning, since it's all plastic, but it has performed flawlessly through an entire season of use. I'm not sure how the bag would hold up to travel, but it's been perfect for storage. I really like that the bag is actually sized large enough that you don't have to struggle to get the deflated board and all accessories neatly packed inside it. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase, and would not hesitate to buy another Roc board.

Couldn't be happier with my purchase!
I couldn't be HAPPIER with my purchase! I can be on the water in minutes with the set up!! The pump is easy and efficient to use...just think of it as a warm up for your arms, shoulders, and abs to get ready to paddle.I read a bunch of reviews and kept coming back to the Roc brand. I wanted easy set up, wide and stable, easy transport and storing, and I didn't want to spend a ton of money being I was just getting into the sport. Maybe if I keep at it I will upgrade to one of Roc's higher end models...but for now, this one is perfect for me.Unlike the other boards I borrowed from friend's or rented, the length and width I chose make me feel completely stable out on the water...allowing me to get more and more confident is different conditions. I purchased one that was recommended if I wanted to take my dog along with me. I need to get a little more time on it under my belt before I try it with my Labrador...but its a goal for next summer.Get yourself a Roc and get out on the water!

Amazing Paddle Board!
Everything is as advertised - this is an amazing product! After a very straight forward inflation process, it was hard to believe how sturdy this board was once inflated. You wouldn't believe its actually an inflatable. Deflating it is straight forward as well, and if you follow the instruction, the paddle board and all accessories actually fit into the backpack supplied - we couldn't believe it! Cant go wrong with the product for the price - definitely getting your moneys worth. When purchasing we didnt realize this board can also double as a kayak - the paddle they give you support both standing and sitting, will just need to acquire a seat that attaches easily and will be good to go!

Durable & Well made SUP Paddleboard
I haven’t had any issues so far with this paddleboard. It’s well constructed with good looking aesthetics. I like the fact that there’s several options for mounting items such as a cooler, kayak seat, a dry bag, etc.I would suggest investing in an electric pump. Using the hand pump that comes with the paddle board is do-able, but is a bit of a workout to get to the correct PSI. Also, the paddle it came with was a bit loose at the connection point and would not always stay at the adjusted length due to the connector being too loose. Other than that, it’s been a great board so far!

Quality & Ease of Use are Excellent
The ROC paddle boards purchased are being used on local area lakes. I am very pleased with the quality of the paddle board material. The ease of use is excellent. It is a very seamless process to inflate, attach the fin and deflating the board is quick and easy. The backpack that is in included is an added bonus to carry all accessories, including the board. Fully inflated that are easy for one person to carry. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend for ease of use on the water, design and effortless transportation of the board.

A great, convenient inflatable paddle board
ROC makes some great inflatable paddle boards. We have this model (Big Kahuna) and a few of the Alliance models. This site makes it hard to determine what the real difference is, but the added length and width of the big kahuna make the board larger and more stable. I've used a few other inflatables, and here's what to like about these ROC boards; All included gear works great. Price is right. D rings for attaching gear or anchors are right where they need to be. The inflate valve is sturdy and not "Cheap" feeling. My one and only problem I find with this package is the compression lever for the paddle attachment. The bolt is just a little long and can be bothersome when your hand brushes against it sometimes when paddling. I solved this by replacing it with a bolt that was just a little shorter so the end doesn't protrude beyond the lamp mechanism. This really isn't a huge problem though, just a small gripe. You can't go wrong with these boards, however I definitely recommend an auto pump to make it that much easier.

Love this board!
I was impressed at the quality of the materials when unboxing this board. I have been even more impressed with it since using it. I am a beginner at paddle boarding and got this board to learn on. I am an experience paddler with kayaks and canoes. I have used this board at least twice a week from mid Jun 2022 (baught) - mid Oct 2022 (weather turned cold). I am now investigating for a 5mm wetsuit to comfortable use this in winter (I'm addicted). For those concerned about my complection in the pic, I ate a lot of carrots that day, no jaundice ;PPro's:1. Packable - I love that it can be folded up into the backpack and taken on trips. The backpack holds the board, paddles and pump. This made moving them around on road trips super easy and kept everything together. I took this board on a road trip over the summer. It travelled superbly and was easy to pull out for watercraft inspections.2. Light weight - All in all it weighs around 20lb. Okay I am not going to hike up a mountain to paddle at a valley lake, but I do carry my board the couple blocks from my apartment to the beach.3. Connection points - There are several connection points which makes it nice for attaching a carry strap, cooler or connection 2 boards to float together4. K9 approved - My doofus coonhound fell off the board. He used his velociraptor claws and grippy little paws to get back on. He is also a beginner boarder, and this was his first time swimming (panic mode). The board material is extremely strong and has sustained no damage from claws, barnacles, rocks or trees.5. Full kit - The package I got had the board, backpack, leash, 2 peice adjustable paddle, kayak paddle attachment, and two stroke pump and small dry sac. .Tip: There is a screw on the side of the pump. When closed it is in two stroke mode, use this for first 3/4 of inflation. Unscrew the pin and it is in one stroke mode. It will still be hard, but less hard. Use this for the last 1/4 that feels impossible.

Best price-value relationship!
This is my first ISUP after having previously used a friend's ISUP (a Body Glove Performer 11). I did my research and wanted a paddle board that could also be used as a kayak (with the accesory seat). This particular model is great because it comes with the d rings and bungee cords in the front and in the rear. The main fin is removable and it comes with a paddle that can be adapted for kayaking. These boards also come with triple layer protection in the sides while most of the other brands comes with double layer only. I tried the board last weekend at lake Koocanusa (BC, Canada) in both configurations. It took me 6 minutes to fully inflate the board with the included pump. The board is very stable and was great for me as a beginner.

Sturdy construction and great value
Like you're probably doing right now, I agonized over the many, many choices for my first paddle board... I decided to go with ROC, and I'm really glad I did. This board's the right combination of stability and speed for a beginner (me), and though it takes a bit of effort to inflate manually, you can always get an automatic pump if you don't want to put in the effort (though you're getting a paddle board to stay active anyway, right? 💪) I have the monochrome model and love the look of it, too. Great value for this complete package, and even the carrying case is well-constructed and exactly the right size. The board's now rolled away compactly in its bag as we endure another endless Canadian winter and I dream of next summer on the lake...

Update: no buenoExcellent cust service!
I’m a newbie to ISup’s. I went with Roc based on their reviews and they did not disappoint! The board is beautiful, easy to manage. My oar came with a little problem and I didn’t realize it until 4 months later (when I took my maiden voyage) I emailed cust service and they promptly responded with concern. I am awaiting a new oar and cannot be more pleased with their business! Thankyou Roc! You guys are awesome!UPDATE: so… after the faulty oar (which was immediately rectified-thankyou) 2nd time out, valve won’t stay open to deflate so I had to lie on it while pressing down the whole time, not fun. Whilst doing so irritated, flustered and a little sad I left the main fin behind. Tried to order a new one through website as they don’t have the Alliance side-lock fin ANYWHERE! No shipping to Canada…. Contacted cust service almost 2 weeks ago they said they would send out a replacement valve (still haven’t received) and said they’ll have Canadian shipping in a few days. Well: a $29.95 fin (acceptable) with a $29.95 shipping fee (UNACCEPTABLE!)- ordered this board back in Feb. used it once. Nothing but issues. Summers half over and still I wait for resolution. They have been ghosting me on email. Will update hopefully with better news. I do love this board, just wish I could use it.

This board is amazing! I am going to become a pirate! Yar!
As a beginner paddle boarder I wanted something I could learn and play on that was not in the $1000 price range. This board is great. I did a lot of research into differnet boards and I could not be happier with this purchase. The board holds , me (130lb) or my husband (160lb), and our dog(60lb) and a small cooler with snacks and drinks (30lb). The board is wide enough to also allow my dog to turn around and not knock me over.I love that this came as a full kit, with the kayak extension paddle, and pump. The pump is dual action, however you have to ensure that the screw on the side is in for the double action to work. Anything that holds 20psi of pressure is going to be hard to pump. For me the pumping seems normal and no harder than expected.
