However, it fits perfectly and stays in place even with the wiggles. (I shuffle around and get in and out of bed a lot.) The mattress pad is thin, but not in a bad way. It has a soft and wrinkle free top material that looks classy. The waterproof underside is well made, pliable, quite flexible without fear of tearing, and it is very quiet despite the water proof lining. It went on my very thick mattress with ease, stayed in place, and had enough material to allow for an even thicker mattress. The sides are a breathable stretch material, thick enough to not tear with normal use and to not add bulk. After redressing the bed I cannot tell that it is in place. Now I dont have to worry IF a dog has an accident or jumps into bed damp from playing in the sprinkler. It looks good, feels good, doesn't have any bad chemical scent, price was on point, and was super easy to put on the mattress.
