I cook several meals in one day, and make my own "TV dinners" for my partner. He has ruined (melted) so many plastic freezer dishes I got disgusted and started looking for solutions. When these arrived I was concerned because they were a bit on the small side, but they are perfect for one meal. I use the larger one for "meat and potatoes" meals, the mid sized one for casserole meals, and the smaller for a side dish or just enough for a meal for me. I now own 5 sets - I had to get more when I discovered they were available in my ancient "Shadow Iris" pattern. Those are white, and even reheating tomato products has not discolored or marred the surface. They stand up to the "take it out of the freezer and nuke them 'till they're scalding" treatment, and the square shape fits well in the freezer. The only downside is that they don't stack well, but most people won't own 14 of these dishes! Compared to other microwave safe dishes on the market, these are the best value and highest quality. Review: Great set - The color of these containers is such a gorgeous juicy plum. Not bright or tacky, just very pretty. They go wonderfully with my grape themed kitchen, too. They are very well made and durable. It is not a set you will be throwing away in a year or two.
