Really great as a mixer
I enjoyed the flavor of this mixed in tonic water. As a gin and tonic fan who wanted to reduce alcohol consumption, I found this to be a really adequate substitute. The Spice version is pretty good, but has a really strong note of allspice, and the other flavors are more subtle. I'm excited to try the other flavors!

Very good
This stuff is great as an alternative to liquor like gin. It has its own unique flavor. I drink it straight over ice or with a little mixer but it isn't very strong to my taste. Has a resemblance to gin with bitters.

Overpriced. Overwhelming allspice/anise flavor. Just make your own from the spice/produce aisle.
This was undrinkable for me. I found the flavor of allspice or anise overpowering. And I love black licorice and black jellybeans. I mixed it with soda water, and even stepped down to a 1oz. pour. I had to wash my glass to remove the smell, to go to a different drink. I checked into returning it, which you can't, and reached out to Seedlip to see if they could do anything. I had the half-hearted expectation that they would see their way to sending a different flavor, like the Garden 108 (2-star for me). They didn't have any interest in a credit or exchange (which I didn't really expect) and replied with a bit of boilerplate. I'm stuck with a bottle I won't drink, and am too cheap to pour it down the drain🙂. If you could find a decent NA red wine, you might use this to make sangria, or sub it for Galliano in a mocktail. It is a big "No" from me... Other than the off-putting flavor, my main objections to this are the cost, and the bottle size. I don't know why they've opted for a 700ml bottle instead of a standard 750ml, but it seems like a philosophy of "shrinkflation" before there was anything to shrink. I find the cost of this product second only to its flavor as prohibitive flaws. The $31 for this bottle puts you in the neighborhood of the price range of some very decent spirits, for which you'd receive a larger bottle. If you're avoiding alcohol, I would just go to the produce section instead.

Meh.
Not too bad but no substitute for vodka, which is what we were looking for. (Honestly, it's not too bad if you put enough gin in it.) Just not tasty enough for me to want to buy more on its own.

Interesting Taste
First of all, don't be put off by the negative reviews. This is NOT alcohol. Therefore, it will not taste like alcohol. I ordered the Spice flavor and it does have a spicy kick. I mixed it with cranberry juice and lime and it made a nice mocktail. I feel it is overpriced for the size of the bottle. The worst part was the packaging. There was none! It was wrapped in a thin sheet of bubble wrap and put in the cardboard shipping box. I'm glad that it arrived undamaged. For the price, I was at least expecting a gift box. Overall, I am satisfied with the product. Not sure if I will buy it again due to the price.

Makes the best mocktails!
I was in an AMEX lounge with a speakeasy. Not wanting to drink too much alcohal before flying I asked the bartender if she could make me a mocktail. She said that she could make an alternate version of one of the cocktails on the list and suggested a citrus based one. The drink was sooooo delicous. I've ordered quite a few mocktails in the past but this one was far superior. I asked what the non alcohalic spirit was and took a picture of the bottle so I could try and duplicate it at home. I came up with my own calculations on how much of each ingredients and the results at home were just as delicious. My version of the speakeasy's Southside Cocktail: Pluck a bunch of mint leaves and add them to a cocktail shaker Squeeze a half a lemon add a shot of the Seedlip Spice 94 Muddle the mint into the liquids add ice and shake strain into a glass with ice and top off with tonic Add a lemon slice for garnish muddle the mint into

Great product.
Seedlip is a wonderful taste to add to my sparkling water. This flavor is a bit lighter than the past and very refreshing.

Bland and unexciting
During my NA experiment (mostly to shed booze-related bloat), I set out to find tasty low-calorie alternatives to pass the time. I read about all kinds of alternative NA "spirits" and decided to give this flavor a try because it sounded more spiced up than others. The bottle label recommends 1 or 1.5oz mixed with your mixer of choice (they recommend ginger beer whose calorie count is way too high, btw). Yeeeah, that doesn't work. This drink is still too bland when used in such small amounts, such that I ended up mixing it 50-50 with ginger beer to taste anything while minimizing calories from the mixer. I was expecting something with a distinctive herbal flavor that would stand out in a mix, but for the cost this drink simply isn't worth it. I understand that not everyone goes for these to maintain a calorie deficit, but at that point you're better off pouring a Poppi soda over ice and adding a few dashes of bitters for more flavor, added prebiotic nutrients, and (not to sound like a broken record) fewer calories for a much lower price.

Seedlip Grove 42 elevates any non-alcoholic drink. Delicious with some pomegranate juice, rosemary simple syrup, La Croix lime soda, and a giant ice cube.

Seedlip Spice 94 was the first non-alcoholic spirit I ever purchased, initially as a gift for my wife while she was pregnant with our first daughter. As she’s a gin fan, I wanted something that allowed her to still enjoy a 'grown-up' drink when we had friends over. At the time, it didn’t quite land - the flavour came across a little like flavoured water when mixed too lightly. A few years later, however, I tried a Seedlip & Tonic at a hotel bar and was completely converted. Mixed properly, it’s an entirely different experience - smooth, complex and genuinely reminiscent of a good botanical spirit. The blend of allspice, cardamom and citrus gives it warmth and depth, while the absence of sweetness keeps it refreshing and crisp. The key is in the ratio. Once you get the balance right (typically a generous pour of Seedlip to tonic, with plenty of ice and perhaps a slice of orange), it delivers an excellent, well-rounded drink that feels every bit as considered as its alcoholic counterparts. The presentation is another standout feature. The bottle design is beautiful - elegant, minimalist and sophisticated enough to sit proudly on any drinks trolley or bar shelf. It looks and feels like a premium product, which adds to the sense of occasion when serving it. Since rediscovering it, it’s become a staple in our home - ideal for evenings when you want the ritual and enjoyment of a proper drink without the alcohol.
