Don't go fishing without these beauties.
Want to catch bass? Buy these worms.5", green/brown(clearer water), or black(muddy water) with any flake color. I fish them 'wacky rigged'(use wacky O-rings or they'll fall part pretty easy), with a Gamakatsu Wicked Wacky Hook 3/0 size. If shallow water(5 feet or less), fish them weightless. Cast out and LET THEM SINK NATURALLY.If you don't know what Wacky Rigged means please Google it. It's great for these baits and many others.Have patience. They don't sink quick when they're rigged weightless, but this is GOOD! These things shine when they're sinking naturally. Let them hit bottom and then let it sit for 3-10 seconds. Gently raise your rod up 3-4 feet and let it sink again while reeling in the slack. Maybe give it a twitch or two when you're raising your rod up. But then let it sink naturally again for 3-10 seconds. Rinse, repeat, catch fish.If it's a bit deeper, fish it with a Drop Shot rig or Texas rig with a .25oz weight. You can fish these things so many different ways. This is what works for me. More so than anything else I've tried. I live in Ohio and fish mostly lakes.Have fun!

Bass WILL hit this lure! They'll also destroy it...
I am in SW Florida, we fish several watersheds, lakes and ponds, I've never caught more fish off of one type of worm than I have with the #297 Green Pumpkin Senko. Fish everywhere will bite on this, every lake, every condition. Big fish, small fish, every fish hits this. I always run it Texas rigged, either weightless or with no more than a 1/8th oz. bullet weight on it, paired with 50 lbs braid/30 lb fluorocarbon leader, 3/0 or 5/0 EWG (Extra Wide Gap) hook and a #297 Senko. ANY color Senko will catch fish as long as it's the #297 Green Pumpkin..The downside? They are expensive and they get destroyed after usually 1-2 fish. I have never caught more than 3 fish on a single bait. You get to rig from one side, catch a fish, if the worms wtill with ya, you can bite the tattered end off, flip it around, hook from the "tail end" catch a fish and its toast. A true testament to how aggressively fish hit this lure, how soft the plastic is and how life-like the movements are.

Hope my competition never buys these
Yes they break apart, yes they are soft, but if you want the most effective Senko on the market hands down, the Yamamoto Senko is it. I don't know the science behind it but 2 weeks ago I took a person fishing and gave him a clinic on the senko. I tied on one of the Yams and hammered fish after fish, and then I used another brand and though I caught a few, it was day and night different, much slower bites. I cast out the other brand and not get a hit, then in the same spot cast the Yam and catch 3 or 4 fish. These baits have better action and they are softer and the fish bite them and hang on. Many times if you are not careful the fish will swallow the bait whole so when using this brand of senko you actually have to set the hook more quickly than normal to avoid killing the fish. Hey, do what you want. I hope none of my competition ever buys these personally

Bass candy
What can I say that hasn't already been said. If you want to catch fish this is your ticket. No matter conditions or time of day or location, if bass are around they'll likely hit this. When you feel the thump, reel in any excess line and give that rod a hard tug to set the hook (this should take no more than 3-4 seconds) then hang on and start reeling. Great bait!

Overrated, underperforming, brittle worms.
Gary Yamamoto laughs all the way to the bank every time some schmuck like me gives him 8 dollars for his worms. Simply put, these are the worst stick worms I've ever used. The durability of these worms is bordering on comical. Heavens forbid you run into a weed bed or even cast these worms too many times. Wacky rig? Only if youre using O rings. Ned rig? Forget it, the hook from the jig head shreds these worms after 2 or 3 casts. Whatever they're using to make these worms is laughable. Finally, even the action these put out is sub standard at best compared to other worms. A bag of YUM Dingers is 2.99. Yums worms are 100 times more durable and have at least twice the action. Ive even used a 2 dollar bag of Big Bite Baits stick worms and been more impressed.tldr Stay far FAR away from these worms. You can buy more durable worms with better action and in better colors for almost 1/3 the price.

Get it!
My bf bought these after watching his friend catch tons of fish while he caught...none. The color attracts all sorts of fish. He and I have caught large and small mouth bass, huge crappies and northerns. We have other colors and they don't catch fish as much.

Great worms!
These are some of the best senko style worms I've used. They fall slow and have good action on the fall. Fish tend to eat these on the fall. Throw them Texas rigged with or without a weight, wacky rig them, neko rig them, use them as a trailer, etc. These things catch fish! As far as the value I rated it 4 out of 5 stars because they are a bit expensive. Durability I gave 3 out of 5 stars because they do tear very easy due to the massive amount of salt they put in the plastic to help it fall slower. They could use less salt but I don't think they would be as affective. I gave thickness 5 out of 5 stars because the fish do eat them so it must be right. I have thrown these things so many times and caught fish before they even hit bottom a lot of the times. I personally like to throw them Texas rigged with a cone shaped weight and a rubber weight peg. Sometimes I keep the weight pegged right to the hook and sometimes I slide the weight peg up about 8 inches so the weight can slide a bit. It all depends on what the fish are biting.
