Smead Self-Adhesive Metal Fastener, Reinforced, 2" Capacity, Brown, 100 per Box (68215), Pack of 1

Use these all the time at work - One of the best inventions - they stick amazing - I have been using them for years and when I pull out my archived paperwork from 8 years ago each year they are still stuck on as if I just made the file folder. Hold everything in place perfect. I actually get compliments every time I am audited (which is at least 2x a year in my industry from various agencies) and am told they never see anyone as organized as me - and thanks to these I am able to be organized easily.

I just purchased these to repair some folders I bought whos fasteners were flimsy and broke quickly. These were easy to apply and feel sturdy. Now for the time test...

These are great! Take some practice to figure out where to stick them inside of a folder but once they’re stuck they’re stuck good! I have bought them twice now

These Smead fasteners work perfectly! I can't complain really about anything they work as expected and last for years without issue. Smead makes high quality products and I keep coming back to them after trying out a cheaper product from another company. Don't waste your time with cheaper just by Smead and know that you're buying the best on the market that will perform and outlast the others.

I’m extremely pleased with these. They are heavy duty and stay put. Great price too. They’re the only ones I order.

TL;DR: The color of the adhesive is an ugly mustard-yellow with brown fasteners, not brown adhesive with brown fasteners. The package was beat-up, previously opened, and missing one.When I first saw the package, I noticed it was taped shut with Scotch tape, and the packaging itself was a little beat up. I thought, "Well, maybe it's not so bad/weird."I took one out and noticed that while the picture shows brown fasteners with brown adhesive, they're actually brown fasteners with an ugly mustard-yellow adhesive. I thought, "Well, maybe it doesn't really matter because the adhesive part (that sticks to the folder) will be hidden behind paper.But when I reached into the package to take another out, I noticed it was attached to another because they are supposed to be in groups of five, with the adhesive paper perforated so you can separate each one. I took them all out and noticed that there were 95 grouped that way and there was a group of three. Since I just used one, I realized then that the pack was missing one.In the big scheme of things, it's not that big of a deal. The adhesive feels decent. I haven't bent the fasteners yet, so I don't know how durable they are.I was still sort of disappointed.

Love these. It's quick and easy to make your own folders with tabs and it's cheaper. I work for a law firm, and these hold a lot of paper with no issues.

Tried these for our office for the first time, vs. the all metal fasteners we've used for years. Which would sometimes fall off eventually. So far, the extra sticking area of the added paper seems it will work better.
