Most of the socks that I own for wearing with my running shoes, more specifically my gym shoes, are the ones that stop around or just below your ankle. My gym shoes are meant for a lifting, so they're fairly stiff and wide. I needed some socks that were going to go past my ankle to make those shoes more comfortable when I'm training, and not worry about possible rubbing against my achilles tendon. These socks seemed like the perfect length, and indeed for my needs, they are. They're nicely made with good stitching, and an attractive looking design. They fit true to size, and are just the right length for what I was looking for. I wear a size 10 1/2, so you can judge by my pictures the type of fit they may have according to your size. I was hoping they may be a little more padded in some areas, because I have a few sports socks that are a little more generously padded in the heel, and entire sole of the foot. These have a consistent thickness to them throughout, which is fine because it makes them a little cooler to wear. All in all, they are a nice design, well made, and fit true to size. Time will tell how well they last, but my initial impressions on them are very positive. Based on that, I'd feel safe recommending them.

This pack of six pairs of socks comes neatly folded in a bag. The socks aren't tied together with anything and they are ready to wear out of the bag. They fit great and are very comfortable. I got mine in the light grey color and they look exactly like in the product picture. The only dubious claim is the arch support. There is a ribbed fabric under the arch instead of the smooth fabric used on the rest of the foot but it is not going to support your arch. I'd say these are nice ankle height socks at a very reasonable price.
