Wow! This salt lamp is amazing! It is so much bigger than I thought it would be! Beautiful basket and over enough quality salt chunks to fill it! It has a dimmable switch also , I have to say I got a great bargain for the low price! Amazing!

I bought this a year ago. As with all salt lamps, it needs to be on for most of the day, every day, to keep the salt dry. It stopped working a few weeks ago, after excavating the bulb it was burnt out, but new bulbs didn't work... so I checked the outlet and the lamp over for something else that could be malfunctioning.Then I noticed a depression on the back of the switch-- like it had melted. So I unscrewed the back and viola: burnt up circuits.I can only say that I (and my neighbors in the building) are extremely fortunate that it didn't start a fire. And horrified that 1. other customers are reporting that the company is not accepting returns 2. that Amazon is still allowing the seller to sell this item.

I have to say this is the first time my room looks so good! I ordered this salt lamp about two months ago and every time I look at it, it just lights me up! If you are a fan of home remedy, this is a product for you! There are several pros to this product:1/ If you ever go to massage centers, 90% of the time you will see people having these lamps because I believe it relaxes you psychologically.2/ Also, speaking about relaxing, the salt naturally releases negative ions so that is definitely a plus-plus. After I bought this product, I got very interested in the effects of negative ions. What I found was that even though this product releases negative ions! However, it does not release enough for you to fully benefit from it. As a result, I ended up buying a negative ion generator and it costs me about 14 bucks and it's great! So if you end up buying this product and you expect the benefits of negative ions, you will probably not get them. Along with this product, I will recommend buying a negative ion generator! If you are into meditation and home remedy, these products are must get! (along with essential oils, oil diffuser, bamboo charcoal bags, ....) I ended up buying this product along with another salt lamp that they offer and I am in love with both of them! It's great in any dorm room and can be put anywhere like the living room, ... The magic comes when you turn off the light or especially when you come back from a hard work out! Love every part of it!

I’ve had this lamp for 1 month now. I bought it for the homeopathic properties and also to enhance the ambience in my living room. Arrived quickly and no damage was seen. It was easy to assemble, and I’ve had no electrical problems.Using a timer it comes on at 5pm and goes off at 2 am. I can taste the salt in the air, which is why I only use it for a few hours each day.I must say most of early morning nasal and throat congestion have practically disappeared and my overall mood has improved. Maybe those negative ions have reduced and the air is cleaner.Too early to confirm but I keep hoping. This was a very good buy. It looks great and is great value for money. I would gift this to a relative with similar nasal issues.

Within 30 minutes of plugging in this lamp I heard a pop, looked over and the electrical cord had caught fire! Thankfully I was right there, able to rip it out of the socket, stomp out the flames, and avoid what would have become a quick house fire! The cord is burnt through, so is my rug, and my house smells of burnt plastic even hours later. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!!!

Bulb blew within twenty minutes of setting up - found suitable replacements in Asda of all places LOL, I am not sure if its because the crystals touch the lamp when they are arranged in the bowl - there was a lot of mess in the bag with the crystals - do not tip up the bag! The new bulb did not blow after 20 mins so I think the bulb included may not be up to the job. The basket on mine was slightly askew to one side, looks like it might have been dented in transit and had not noticed until turned the bowl around. Looks very nice though and gives a warm glow to the room which is nice a restful on the eyes.

i love this. Especially on cold winter nights when the glow of the lamp just makes the room feel cosy. The health benefits of these lamps are extraordinary and I am looking forward to feeling the benefits to my breathing in the coming months. Even if you do not suffer from breathing problems, these lamps help ionise the air especially in areas where a lot of electrical equipment is used. I use mine during the day as well, especially when i am making beds as the lamp helps neutralise all the allergens tossed in the air. It is easy to clean and only uses a small bulb. A word of warning!! Make sure that you buy one big enough for the room. This is a good sized one for an average office space/ small room. Rule of thumb - 2lb for every 10 square feet.

This really raises the spirits! A delightful basket of salt chunks than you can easily re-arrange and provides a calming atmosphere as well as displaying a gentle glow to the area. The dimmer switch is easy to operate - I do suggest you buy a couple of spare bulbs as, if the bulb blows, you'll be so disappointed to not have a ready replacement. The lamp itself weighs over 8 lbs, so don't place it where it is unstable or likely to be knocked.A wonderful centrepiece to hearth or table.

Bought for my Dad for Christmas, after looking up, "best gifts for copd sufferers" and he was absolutely delighted. He says it makes him feel cosy, bless him. He has a fireplace in his sitting room and we put it in there on Christmas Eve, I think it made his Christmas to be honest so many thanks to the seller. We highly recommend this beautiful fire basket effect salt lamp.

Initially i was very pleased with the product, it was purchased as a present. Unfortunately three months after purchase it stopped working. We changed the bulb and the fuse in the plug but it will not work. Really disappointed and unable to return as it stopped working 3 days after the ability to return. Would not recommend.
