Overall I think this is a great product. I ordered it to go with my New 2DS XL. It holds the system itself very snug and securely. It's small enough that it doesn't feel cumbersome, and isn't plagued by the overly "Nintendo" aesthetic that a lot of DS cases have. The price-point it fantastic, and it overall is a great product. My only suggestion to the manufacturer/designer would be to make the top of the case a little taller/deeper as it doesn't really fit the stock DS charger without it putting a lot of pressure on the zipper to close. This is an awesome case for the price. I just needed something to hold my DS and all of the accessories. Everything fits perfectly.

I just received the amCase hard carrying case for my 2DS xl, and it's almost perfect! It seems to be sturdy and well-made, fits and protects the console well, and is color-coordinated with my turquoise 2DS xl. I already have a large hard-sided case for storing my system, charger, games, and extra styli, but that case takes up too much room in my suitcase when I'm traveling. So I bought this one to cut down on both the overall weight and amount of space the other one takes, and it's great for that purpose. My one beef is that even though the description (and a reviewer or two) say that the charger fits in this case with the console, an actual Nintendo charger is too thick. If you have a USB-type charger with virtually no thickness to it (i.e, just a USB cord with the end that fits into the console) that should work, though. I'll either buy one to use with this case, or just carry my regular wall charger separately in my luggage or purse--this case is just too nice to pass up!

I’ve owned many portable console cases, and this is by far my favorite one! It holds my 2DS XL perfectly, the game cartridges are nice and snug in the 8 provided slots and having a little room for some earbuds, a battery pack or even an extra charger cable is a very nice touch. And to “personalize” it, i was able to clip on some pokéball charms and decorate it a bit. Plus for only $7.99, it does what it’s suppose to, and it’s very secure and convenient. If you’re thinking of getting a case for your 3DS XL or 2DS XL, I totally recommend going with this baby right here.

The case is sturdy, and has a great build quality, it looses 1 star because the game slots are too small. it looses another star because it has no top/bottom markings, so I end up opening the case upside down most of the time. Other than that, the case looks great with the black New 2DS XL.

I love this case. Out of every case I've ever bought for any of my Nintendo DS consoles (from lite to the "new") it's my favorite. The elastic strap keeps my console snug and secure in the perfectly shaped hard shell and I'm even able to tuck the charm I have into the band to keep it from banging around in the case. There is a little flap with room for 8 game cartridges on one side but a flat smooth fabric on the other that keeps your console and the accessories half separate so the console is cushioned in and protected from scratches. The other side has a mesh pocket for your accessories that I keep my cleaning cloth, charger cord, and stylus for the road. It's a snug closure but I never feel like I'm crushing anything, and everything feels tight and secure. The price ($8) feels like a steal I adore it so much.I personally don't keep my wall charger in the accessories pouch so I don't know how well it fits, but I could see it shutting fine with the charger box on one side and maybe 4 game cartridges on the other, but definitely not with everything fully packed.

this was not a Nintendo 2ds XL case. It was a regular Nintendo 3ds that folds case. I was very disappointed.

I looked at a bunch of cases that said "3DS/2DS" and didn't have a lot of faith that they really were made for the different dimensions of the 2DS XL, but this one is! I carry my system on my daily bike commute, so I wanted something form-fitting and slim, where the handheld wouldn't bounce around. Being able to store eight games is plenty, and instead of the original charger, I bring a USB charging cable in the case's pocket. Works great for me and keeps everything protected, but not too bulky.
