I wanted a lock to "keep an honest man honest." Well, this fits my needs perfect. My boat/trailer is already in my back yard, but I wanted something besides keeping my trailer chained to my other trailer. Seems solid enough for my needs - yes, someone could bust this with a good sledgehammer, but like I said....it serves my needs. Lock and keys are working flawlessly and no sticking points. Great tight fit to my coupling and the red color looks great!

Fits my 2" boat trailer perfect. Goes on and off easy, appears to be very sturdy and well made. Barrel key would make it hard to get into for a thief.

I purchased this lock for a small camper trailer. Unlike padlocks, which can be easily cut with a bolt cutter, this heavy duty lock would take much more effort to cut through to remove. Some reviewers have said that a crowbar could be used to pry it off, but nothing is 100% fool-proof. As others have also said, it is a good deterrent to potential thieves.

Appears to be sturdy and well built. But was just barely wide enough to fit on the hitch.

Works fine on a small utility trailer, but it's difficult to get the regular lock on after installing, so it only has one lock. It would make it harder to steal the trailer. The red color makes it easy to see. It does not fit a camping trailer. It's easy to install, remove, and store when not in use.

I was worried about the fit on my 2001 coleman westlake trailer but the fit was perfect. This was my first experience with this type of lock and there was a very slight learning curve on getting it positioned. After the first time it was like riding a bike and got easier the 2nd and 3rd times I used the lock. I would highly recommend this lock for price and ease of use.

The lock went on fine and I was impressed how it functioned. The first time I removed it, the lock seemed a little sticky. I had to fiddle with it to get the lock mechanism to release. The second time I tried to remove the lock, as I was turning the key, the tumbler or something in the key area just broke and the key turned freely, but did not release the lock. I bought this for work and I needed to get the trailer hooked up and on the road, so I had to cut off the lock. very disappointed!

It fits my Harbor Freight trailer very tightly at probably half the cost of the other trailer locks. I like the circle lock, as it is easy to pick out amongst the other keys for various locks I have. Time will tell if it will survive outdoor life, but it does what I want it to now.
