Hello, our air curtain machine does not have waterproof function, it is mainly used to isolate indoor and outdoor air, we suggest you can install it at the indoor entrance. Thank you for your question.

Q: can the fans turn on independently from one another? Example I have a two door entrance/exist, if I have 1 side open can the other side be off?

Hello, the fan cannot be turned on independently, it needs to be turned on and off at the same time through the remote control or the switch on the machine, thank you for your question.
