I bought this blender to be able to make soups and it’s really good. It’s very sturdy, fairly lightweight, and comfortable in your hand. It has a soft touch button which is sensitive, however you can’t click it by accident. There is a dial on the top to speed up or slow down the blender. The power is great, and it only takes around a minute to get everything blitzed. It's a good size to fit in your hand comfortably. The design is really handy to store as it splits in half, therefore the blending end can be easily cleaned. The price of this for the quality you get is really surprising, I only wanted a cheap one to see if I would get use out of it, but the quality of this really is great. Would highly recommend.

Very powerful for the price paid. Fighting above its weight

I enjoyed making myself a lovely soup with this hand blender. It's more powerful than any hand blender I've ever used. Some might say it's needlessly powerful. I kept it on the lowest setting as I was worried that the immense amount of power within my hands would rend the cheap, flimsy body of the blender apart.In any case, the lowest power setting was more than enough to turn tough chunks of carrot and sweede into a thick and hearty soup.I only dock one star because I'm unfortunately unable to feel completely satisfied by any kitchen appliance. Surely you too have felt the emptiness inside which cannont be filled by any material thing? Also, the plastic of the blender feels quite cheap (but not so cheap that it would be a problem for someone with a sense of perspective).
